You're in an extreme minority. Just as I'm in a minority for believing Frozen is a pretty terrible movie. But in this instance, I'm in the correct minority. You are not. Of course, these are just opinions but they wouldn't bring it back if it were as awful as you think it is. But, it IS long overdue for a replacement, that's for sure. It should have only lasted maybe a year or two, but that's the problem with WDW management. They're very slow to update anything.

Maybe when you went but the extreme majority got up and walked out when we did because the show sucked!

.......and as usual, your pictures are friggin' amazing. :lsvader

Haha thanks!

I'm going to put it to rest. I'm completely okay with you not liking because you're probably a lot younger than I and it's certainly dated. I mean, it's literally almost 30 years old! As with most movie criticism though, "sucks" isn't enough for me personally. Michael Jackson is a legend, and his song and dance is still pretty incredible even for today's standards. Cheesy it certainly is. And if you didn't even stick around for the whole thing, then you can't fairly say what it is. The best was still to come!

Alright, a few more shots to close out Magic Kingdom..

Cheesy is a great description .
I am a big MJ fan, grew up with the Jackson 5 and had a few of their albums.
A huge loss to the World when Michael passed.
I saw CE many, many years ago but would love to see something new in its place.
I did watch the last few minutes from the side of the theatre.
Sorry Bro,it was really bad.

......and not sure of your age but I am above my prime! :dunno

Either too young or too old! lol

I think seeing it in the 80s when it came out has a lot to do with it though. It was mind blowing for the time. But yes, something NEW would be nice, not some preview for a movie that's going to disappear in a few months.

Epcot's Future World overall is pretty out dated. As is tomorrowland on both coasts.

And that's it from Animal Kingdom!

When we went last May, we did not get to Animal Kingdom. We opted for Epcot over it. I wasn't too impressed with Epcot in comparison to the other parks. I remember thinking I would have preferred AK over Epcot. What is everyone's opinion of that? Just curious.

Animal Kingdom is a great park but more so in the cooler months.
I would not go there.or any of the parks honestly from July-September .
I am a Florida boy and it is just too damn hot and humid to be waiting in lines and walking the parks.
Been there,done that.
Epcot is more a laid back relaxing park with all the Countries to visit and see their cultures.
Very interesting but it does have Test Track and Mission Mars, which is pretty intense!
Each park has its own special things to offer to its visitors.
Check out each park before you go t make sure it is what you want to do and that is good for the young ones. :exactly:
Plus, lots of rain in the summer time!

Epcot is the fuller park but it's also very different. It's funny because I say that I love Epcot. I have friends that say they love Epcot. And I believe we actually do... but I wonder how it is for people who visit for the first times without knowing what to expect. My friends and I, we love Epcot because we know what they were trying to do. For others, it's an over-glorified shopping mall with some rides here and there and a lot of outdated things.

Animal Kingdom though, is fully intended to be a half day park and therefore, a bit of a let down as well. The only three rides that are worth looking into is the Safari, Dinosaur, and Expedition Everest. Kali River Rapids is one of the most disappointing rapids rides I've ever done in my life. It LOOKS beautiful... but man that is a terrible disappointment.

Alright more pics!

Thanks.

The main thing I wanted to see at AK was Expedition Everest. That was about it.

I really like AK. But AK needs to be done as part of a multi-day trip, ideally with a Park Hopper. I like spending a few hours in the morning at AK, then heading elsewhere. But it is NOT a full day park, not even close.

Yeah Kali is just... bleh. It was even worse my past few trips, when my wife and I did Universal for a few days before heading to Disney. Popeye absolutely annihilates Kali. That may be unfair, since Popeye might be the most fun rapids ride I've ever been on. But Kali... I go on it because it's there and it's still fun, so long as you know the bar is low and you didn't wait long.

I'd rather hang out by the monkey sanctuary right outside for a half hour, it's way more entertaining.

This is the thing with AK - Disney strove for insanely detailed accuracy throughout the park. And they absolutely succeeded. AK offers immersion in its theme more so, you could argue, than any other park. They just forgot to add attractions.

They are working on it.
Animal Kingdom continues to improve.
We spend hours just watching the gorillas.
Amazing creatures!

Last time I went we did spend a whole day at AK and the only thing I actually enjoyed was Everest. The Lion King show was pretty good too, but is it worth it to spend extra money for park hoppers for 2 attractions? I think I'd rather just spend another whole day at MK again.

I keep coming back just to see your photos. You do this for a living or just a hobby?
You got talent Bro! :hi5:

Haha thanks, it's just a hobby. There's a ton more "disney photographers" out there that do WAAAY better work than I do. I just like trying to document stuff.

No, you're not wrong. Popeye and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges is AMAZING. Seriously one of the best rapids rides I've ever done or at least in the top 2. Even Rip Saw Falls, while pretty ugly during the ride, was just A TON OF FUN. We were laughing so hard at the end of that. Kali.... I dunno. It's not that fun.

Before going through Disneyland pics, Springfield, U.S.A. at Universal Studios Hollywood opened up last week... technically it hasn't even grand opened yet but I went ahead and grabbed some pics anyway. If you wanna see my pics of Orlando's... i think it's on page 244 or something like that.

Does anyone have a clear photo of the small scene at the entrance for Pirates of the Caribbean from Disneyland? It's a small sand bar that the boats float by with a treasure chest, map and pirate flag. Any help appreciated!
