Oh I didn't know they closed the Backlot tour. I enjoyed that. I wonder what they will do with all of the props that had been sitting outside forever. Shame really. I would have shut down the stunt show rather than the tour.

I remember when the tour use to be an hour and you saw the golden girls house and a bunch of other props. They cut all that out. The tour is not what it used to be and it didn't get as many people as it used to.

I also heard they cut out the normal line for toy story mania and you can only get in with a fast pass

I'm at WDW now. Have never seen so much construction or areas closed off for construction in any of my trips down here. It's true, even the Magic Kingdom will be updated when the new hub area is complete, just a mess now.

I couldn't take downtown disney when we were there in june. Right at the Lego store they would funnel everyone through these tight areas around construction. The traffic was miserable there too.

The past few trips, Downtown was a MESS.

This year, there was still construction, but oddly enough - it helped. We were all directed to park across the street, in these office-y parking lots.

Parking there + walking across the street was SO MUCH easier than the usual headache of parking in DTD.

According to WDWmagic Capt Jack is getting the axe on November 6. In a few years HS might feel like a new park with all the changes happening.

That seems odd considering it's been there for so long and they are planning on making a new movie. Would he be replaced with a new character maybe? Or just taken out completely.

How long has it been there for? I feel like it's only been a few years. Are you thinking of the pirates ride at mk?

Finally returned to the parks this weekend so here's a few shots.

Old news, but you can meet Oswald the Lucky Rabbit now at California Adventure.

Your photos are incredible! What camera do you use, if you don't mind me asking?

For the latest few months, I've been lucky enough to use a Canon 5D Mark II that I'm borrowing from friends. I still don't actually own a camera anymore since it got stolen last year.
