Haha yeah, that tip is also coming in handy for a soldier story military figure I bought as well. Those tactical vests are insane. Same thing with all those straps as the punisher.

Must come as second nature to the seasoned military collectors and bashers, but for 1/6 softies like myself who are used to buying generally 'ready-assembled' figures it takes a bit more effort!
The most frustrating bit of assembly I've had to do so far, however, was lacing the three pairs of caligae (marching boots) on ACI's Romans.
It's all well worth the effort in the end though. The 'Revenger' looks fantastic (as do the Romans).

Classic pic right there.I just got my hands on a AF Saves Punisher and finished putting him together for a comparison to the VTS Revenger. I painted some new skulls on both vest and weathered them up. Let me know what you guys think

both look awesome buddy, but i kinda like the revenger sculpt a bit more than the saves one. the blood spots on the saves vest are a really nice touch.
Thanks guys. I really love both figures and glad to have them in the collection. I also have my other Revenger in the War Room and a Zeck comic version in the works. Just waiting for the sculpt to show up, so I can paint it

Yeah man, that hs is fantastic in hand. I really had to put some work into his vest too and remove the existing custom painted skull, but it worked out. His gear is no where as good as the VTS offering, but it's not bad. Really loving these figures and they look a lot different to make it worth owning both. I also painted the skulls different on the vests to change it up a bit. The weathering effect brings it up a notch too for the overall look. I'm a happy camper right now
wow, you really made that Saves Punisher look 10x better than the stock one. Awesome job! P.S. sorry about that skull paint job from before. As you can tell, I suck at painting lol.
Hey thanks Jerry & no worries about the vest man. That's why I asked a bunch of questions ahead of time. I actually stripped the whole figure down including everything that was glued and started working on the vest. After that was finished, then I put the gear back on without glue & weathered him up. I'm real happy with this figure and thanks for parting with him

Which one do you guys think is better between art figures and VTS. Thinking about getting one of these figure can't decide from AF or VTS
You can't go wrong with either one. I like the AF hs more, but prefer all of the VTS weapons and clothes. Good luck on your choice.
