Hey, everyone is allowed to have an opionion.
But Holy crap! I just saw this on the Triad forum.
Those are some killer chest plates. Now I'm even more stoked for
my Van Zan figure release using the EVO bodies.

Maybe I'll make some more Quinns too.

These chest plates & arms look awesome and will work very
well for our Van Zan & Quinn figures and take the tatts nicely.
The EVO will really showcase Van Zan if you want him shirtless...

I don't care if I have to wait until late June to get these
and that it took years. The EVO & EVA with all the
extra arms, chest plates & hands will work perfect for what
I need them for and I think, in the end, they will surpass
many of our expectations.

Those pictures look nothing like the chest in the video, which is the real one? The photographs there look acceptable (not that I'm gonna rush out and buy any) but the one in the video looks distorted enough that it would look weird through tight clothes. If the standard body release has the ugly chest, this is just a gimmick to sell more individual human looking chests.

Actually, the EVO & EVA both come with multiple chest plates(2 on the EVO & 3 on the EVA)
as well as 3 sets of hands. The 2 muscle one's are new as well as the muscle arms, so
that what I was referring to. The normal chest plates look fine to me as well.

Triad's stuff is looking great, I hope this finally sees the light of day.

Something looks really differant about the video and the actual bodies on the Triad page, are they differant plastics? The Video's plastic seems more brittle/looks less like real skin.

The muscle structure for a figure looks well done. I am not certain why companies feel the need to add private parts? Someone wanting to look at painted nips or camel on a plastic doll has issues.

** Not to cause false hope..but they may be coming....

Just looked at figuretalk.com and they are starting to list
new Triad products with in house pictures. So they may be
updating this below soon.

But if they are allowed to sell them on 7-3, then we here in
the U.S. should be getting our stock soon after.

So is the EVA & EVO saga finally coming to an end...
Or is it just wishful thinking. Ironic that they might get here a year
after the first official release announcement. But even though it says 2009
on figuretalk, they are starting to sell the Triad Tyrus figure and
the EVA & EVO were originally suppose to be shipped at the same time.
So us being told they are on the way, could actually be for real this time.

Well, just saw a post today showing the production finals of the EVA
& EVO. Here's the pictures they posted. Keep in mind, these are not
great pictures. I guess this is what they take at the factory to show company,
before they go to final packaging.

Lighting's not great, neither is the camera by the looks of it,
but at least it's something.

So looks like we'll finally get some...

About time! Hopefully these figures will have good joints and not be prone to breakage. They do look quite good and the option to switch out the different chests is what makes these figures possibly worth it.

I hope it's just the lighting, but the body looks too glossy, particularly the chests (which I think should be matte).

Thanks... I had the Evo pre-ordered from Toys2 but they were sold out of the Eva-- I pre-ordered from this site.

Not happy with what I'm seeing.
The change to the hip and knees really takes away form the original look of the figures. And the smooth transitions from one part to the other seem to be gone. Also, the lack of paint apps on the bodies is disappointing.
I suppose the will be painted, yes? At least I understood these were going to be painted.
Of course, it doesn't help that the pics are crap and that the EVO has the forearms on wrong. It also seems that the EVA has two left lower legs...
Well, I guess I'll have to wait until I have them in hand.
