Rather than a Green Hornet movie, this looks like a Seth Rogen movie. I grew up on Green Hornet audio cassettes bought from truck stops while on road trips with the fam, back in the day. Those memories > this movie.

Seth Rogan > Your memories. :lol

Between both trailers it feel's like i have already seen half the movie:(

Trailers show way 2 much these days..

While I'm willing to give this a chance, it doesn't make a great first (or second) impression.

I don't know what's worse, Seth Rogen being Seth Rogen or Kato needing obvious sfx and fancy blurring to look good in the fighting scenes.

Caught a screening of this last night (thanks AICN) in Houston, and I really enjoyed it. I didn't have much in the way of expectations going in, but I thought it was a really fun movie. If you don't like Seth Rogen, DO NOT BOTHER. It IS a Seth Rogen movie, but that's why I liked it. It was sort of like what if some everyday sort of guy was handed all of Bruce Waynes goodies. He really wants to do good, and has the hardware to do so, but is clueless at first. Kato was awesome... fortunately, most of his personality wasn't seen in the trailers. In those he seemed uncomfortable and really stiff, but in the actual movie he gets some great lines and really seems to be enjoying himself. Much like Pineapple Express, this is a comedy first with some action in it. My only beef was with the main villain Chunofsky... he just isn't in it enough. I think if you are a fan of Rogen's and like the style of comedy that usually runs through his movies, you will enjoy this a lot. The 3D was also really cool though not necessary...

Well, this movie will never be paradied as a porn cause they would have a hell of a time coming up with a name.... :monkey1

Also...does anyone else find it interesting that Green Lantern was supposed to be this exact kind of movie starring Jack Black...then it got canned. A few months later another GREEN Hornet gets cast as a lamo parady with a similarly contraversial (in terms of liking or hating him) comedian? It's like somebody said...

"Dammit, Im doing a GREEN something or other Super hero movie as a comedic parady with a risky actor!"

I think her problem is she still wants to play the bubbly, clueless, fine looking chick that's clumsy/goofy but charming in movies. And the problem with that is, that ish ain't cute anymore when you're an almost 40 yr old grown ass adult woman.

she could be a good cast for Pretty Woman 2.:rotfl

too bad it's not a parody. :dunno

And if it is a parody, then Iron Man is a parody, because it looks exactly like that.

The ads I've seen for it make it look like a spoof. Iron Man had comedic elements, but it was still reasonably true to the character. Everything I've seen points to this movie being a straight out farcical comedy.
