Ezra Miller was absolutely amazing in this too. Playing more than one part, it feels like really different characters. The suit looks fantastic, he really was the best thing in it.
Hum which one?Bit disgusted to hear about a particular cameo.
In a movie with Ezra Miller and a cameo disgusts?Hum which one?
Then I gotta see it. Whenever the Twitter mob is outraged I know it’s usually goodTwitter seems to be crying over this film and I mean like they hate it. From what I’ve seen
That's not saying much seeing how twitter is always crying about somethingTwitter seems to be crying over this film and I mean like they hate it. From what I’ve seen
a great film
Yes Miller was quite good (& likable) playing the two different versions of Barry and the performances of Keaton and Sasha Calle were highlights for me as well. That said the movie felt really overstuffed and uneven, especiallyEzra Miller was absolutely amazing in this too. Playing more than one part, it feels like really different characters. The suit looks fantastic, he really was the best thing in it.
Spoiler:once Zod arrived and its focus strayed from Barry's quest to save his mom/return home and exploded into yet another battle-to-save-the-world scenario, and then later when the multiversal cavalcade of cameos commenced while worlds were literally colliding/disintegrating. The climactic part of the movie and yet its 100% fan service made it completely devoid of emotion, whereas the scenes with his mom and dad were excellent and tugged at the heart strings. I will say that most of the battle action with Zod's Kryptonians was well done, with everyone given moments to shine. Also, conceptually I liked the "chrono bowl" approach they used when the Barrys were picking when/where to re-enter the time continuum, but the rendering of the people along said continuum looked so artificial/doll-like that it became distracting . Additionally, an earlier extended action sequence that absolutely did not work for me was Barry's slo-mo rescue of a nursery's worth of the babies (plus one therapy dog) falling from one of the top floors of a crumbling hospital. It basically was a replay of Quicksilver's scenes from X-Men DOFP & Apocalypse but lacked the freshness & wacky humor/charm that made those work so well. Not that Miller was to blame - he tried his best.
I think you'll think it makes Spider-Man: NWH look like Citizen Kane, and I know what you think about multiverse movies lol...What do you think I'll think of it?
Spoiler:When Keaton’s Batman died I’m not going to lie I was pissed for a moment and that almost ruined the movie for me. After Barry goes back and undoes things again to allow his mother to die rather than saving her thus undoing the events of the timeline where Keaton’s Batman existed I was more accepting of it. Still irritating but I can let it pass.
The cameos were cool. All the various versions of classic characters and the fact that Nicolas Cage’s version of Superman was able to be seen even if briefly was awesome. Clooney was a surprise. We had heard the rumors but I thought-nah it’s not happening. Cool that he agreed to it.
