Take this for what it's worth, but . . .

I think you a good job on Cover Girl based on the new pictures on the first post within the thread.

A few comments . . .

Consider giving her different style boots. The ones you're using IMHO appear a bit out of place and gaudy from an aesthetics standpoint.

The jacket looks great, but it needs some patches.

Consider finding her a brown shoulder holster for her pistol.

IMHO . . . the hair is a bit too blonde. I thought her hair would be darker/dirty blonde mix a bit, but I digress.

You may want to carefully brush/style the hair a bit.

I like the clean look of her face (i.e. either no or very little make up).

A few enhancements and it should be ideal/perfect for whoever wants to buy her if you're planning on selling her.

Covergirl isn't really finished just yet. I still have some weapon choices and harnesses. im using. With time this blonde hair will darken, I have used this color before and oxidation changes it to a deeper golden blonde. I used it on my francie doll.

Im not brushing out her curls I love them, everyone else with this sculpt can butcher her but i'm not. eventually Im going to get her wolverine patch just cant decide which clipart I like best.

as far as the boots I haven't found a pair I liked for her and she is not getting heels

In a year I will re-photograph her with the new gear and aged hair.

For the uniformed . . .

One year based on Groovy34's timeline is about 2-3 years if we're fortunate.

By then, Sideshow would have hopefully released SCARLETT & LADY JAYE and maybe COVER GIRL.

;) :p

One more suggestion . . . a more aggressive/reasonable time frame would be nice . . . just saying. ;)

Your COVER GIRL don't need heels, but a bit more rugged style military FLAT boot feet design/style.

Check these out for some ideas.

I'm not doing any customs for anyone right now due to housing and money issues, the fabric I had already bought is being used for my current stuff I'm working on now. As far as those boots, no but thanks, CG had knee high boots. Personally I don't care what you think of my timeline. I gave estimates when people asked. with the whole 2-3 yr bit, what ever As if I need to answer to anyone.

Lady jaye is next on my list to work on next week so that shoots your time line to crap right then and there

Who cares how long it takes her. The problem is she thinks she needs to keep us updated.

Im not sure I made any progress of updates that concerns anyone in particular So im confused as to who im updating this for.

I updated CG because I wanted to and I try to keep my word to the ones I did say I would show updates.

I for One Appreciate Groovy updates. And I like win people post WIP pic's as well.

Your Covergirl looks really good from the tailoring to the head you picked, great job! Just a note, I've had that head for about a year and some change and the hair color hasn't darkened, but I think it looks good as is!

Thanks hmm that must mean I have a different formula saran hair that must deepen. Well I don't with want her to change much anyway I love her she looks great with my Joe's. I still need to get a few holsters for her berretta's and I want to find a good glock for a chest harness. Since she abandoned the patch in the comics I might eliminate that all together since this is a combo of 1st season pilot, new comic and what I felt she needed.

So after weapons I will say Covergirl is done unless I find a pair of boots I like more that will fit her pants inside them.

Im glad you like her, I didn't make jacket or pants though, I altered the jacket by removing the top collar and adding the faux sheep whool collar. and made her blouse. I did have to put jeans on and do some cinching with invisible thread because the waist is huge if anyone baught the jacket with jeans may have had the same problem But triad is best hips for them so you don't have to cinch to much.

Almost finished with Lady jaye, I think im going to make covergirl new holsters for her Beretta pistols. like I did for lady jaye's handgun.

I'm going for the original figure look. I was able to pick up the ssc Lara croft cheap and found a barbie jacket for her. Waiting now for her tan clothes to come in.
