not even close, AND still a better film than the FIRST ASM,
"I have given that thought," Andrew Garfield told Comic Book Resources when they asked him for his thoughts on the possibility of an Ultimate Spider-Man movie starring Miles Morales. In that universe, Peter Parker's death led to Miles taking over the mantle and that's something which the actor think could work in helping this franchise transition into the next. "Miles Morales was a huge moment in this character's comic book life. And I do believe that we can do that. It's something I'm really interested in figuring out; an eloquent way of coexisting, or passing on the torch. I don't have an answer, but I think it's actually a really important move. I think it's a really beautiful and important move." That would arguably work really well, and would avoid yet another reboot a few years from now which would like retell Spider-Man's origin for a third time. As for whether he would be interested in sticking around long enough to play an older Peter Parker, the actor added: "I want it to feel like a circle. I want the two ends to join, somehow. I don't know what that means, yet. I don't know what that means in terms of the quantity of Spider-Man movies I do. But I know that I don't particularly want to be a 40-year-old Spider-Man. [Laughs] I do know that time is fleeting." What do you guys think?

This is again assuming Sony has the rights to Miles, but it looks like garfield is thinking the same thing with the passing of the torch without having to recast spider-man, I wonder if the talks are happening in sony or if this is just garfield stating his opinion.
I think it would be a great idea to bring in Miles eventually. I would like for them to find away to bring him in, but not kill Peter off for good.
I'm sure most people if it's not PP I'm not interested in seeing it.
But Evans is leaving that means they'll either have to recast or pass the title.
It's gonna be their biggest actor replacement though. Banner, Fandral and Rhodey only had one appearance before they were replaced. Cap will have had six and will have become synonymous with the role by the end, will be interesting to see if audiences accept it.
Studio's seem to be obsessed with rebooting a franchise when needing to recast the main character.
They do but we haven't seen it done yet with marvel studios.
Spoiler:It's no secret that Sony Pictures is looking to expand their big screen Spider-Man Universe and have already set Cabin in the Woods' Drew Goddard to write and direct the bad guy ensemble, The Sinister Six. Now, we've got our first hint as to exactly which supervillains are likely to be included in the lineup!
As The Sinister Six spins out of the events of this week's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, please be aware the following update contains minor spoilers.
Although The Amazing Spider-Man 2's post-credits are dedicated to teasing 2013's third major Marvel film, X-Men: Days of Future Past, the credits themselves are fully grounded in the Spidey-verse. Sony and Shazam have today revealed a special promotion whereby users can Shazam the end credits song to have a copy of the credits (minus the titles) delivered to their mobile devices. We've done exactly that and captured the six different teaser images that you can inspect below.
From the looks of things, The Sinister Six lineup is likely to include the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Rhino, Vulture, Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio (or, perhaps, the Chameleon).
You can check out the images in motion yourself by Shazaming the end credits song, "It's On Again," by Alicia Keys (featuring Kendrick Lamar) when you check out The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in theaters Thursday, May 1.
