I removed a lot of the black from the skull on my Cherry's bomb and also gave it a gloss coat. I think I like it better.

Thank you for posting those pics. OMG that is a beautiful set. I WILL own that.....

Also, read your entire review. Great job. Glad you were able to track the set. The shirt issue is a real head scratcher, what were they thinking with the velcro like that Anyway, I wish I would have stumbled on to this earlier. Oh well, glad to have another opportunity with the new version. I too love the all black and the rifle addition.

In case anyone else was wondering, the Action Portable Fightin' JC figures are still "in production" and are not shipping yet, according to the email reply I got from 3A customer service.

I like the head sculpt on the Mumbs, but I've never been in to mummy type monsters. I might get one just to tinker with - maybe I'll make him a more decomposed Zomb.

The Meat Is Murder set looks pretty cool, although I'm sure it will be well outside of my price range. I'm curious to see what the JEA Marine will look like. I hope it's more than just a repainted Grunt (although I do love the Grunt design).

Based on the original JEA set, most are speculating between $350 - $400 before 3AA.
