Nice stuff you got there Shinodive. I saw what you did there with the Shin Akuma:rotfl. Personaly, because everything else that I want as collectibles is within my reach, that piece and the Gouken bust are the the ones that I want the most. I check ebay everyday for those and the Street fighter Ultimate Edition book. One of these days though, it shall be mine:maul.

The Resaurus line of Street Fighter figures has always been really nice. I have the 1st player colors and the JR series packed up until I can get my place fixed up. Nice DBZ figures too bro. I think I see Bruce Lee in there??

Thanks J Rodimus

Yeah the Akuma and Gokuen busts are really hard to find. I got mine from the UK ebay a few years back, if one pops up on there again I will let you know.
I always thought that most of the resaurus figures where better then the Sota ones especially the Blanka and Vega one. The only one I could never find was Sagat :( .

The Bruce Lee there is an old figure made by Artasylum, they made a few different ones. Whats more surprising is the fact that they have a better likeness then the PF.

My pictures always come out big!

Oh boy, this thread is my kind of place! I usually take all of my pictures outside of my display case though. I should be getting my Ken PF in a week or two. I can't wait!

vega rocks!!!!!hope one day own one!!

great thread and cool collections! Since some of you guys also display figures, how come no pics of the SOTA line? Mine are all boxed up still, but I'm thinking about displaying them now in my living room. :D

I purchased the entire case to ensure that I got two full sets. There are two colors available for each character except for the secret/variant character, which is Seth. What do you guys think?

Those are cool little figures. Do you know if this is a series and if they plan on doing the rest of the characters?

I never got into action figures. I don't have any.

I would like to know this as well. I hope they don't stop with just these five.

I have the Sota and Resaurus figures 1st player colors, but they're all packed up in the garage right now. I'm working on a rec room where I'm gonna have 2 full size upright arcades, a couple of games set up and my video game figures displayed. I'll post pics when it's all up and running.

Regarding the smaller figures, I personally don't think that they will make more. It would be unfortunate because they really are nice. In my experience with smaller gashapon style figures like these, 2nd series are hardly ever made. I've only ever seen a 2nd series made with a video game licenses and it was for the Metal Gear Solid 2 figures.

Some really nice Tekken figures were made a couple of years ago. They sold well and looked really nice IMO, but a 2nd series was never made. Here's a pic of the box for these with a shot of the figures on the backside of the box.

On another note, did anyone get a 15 day notice from SS for the EX SOTA Shin Akuma? That was preety fast considering it only went up about amonth ago. $$$:monkey4.

Hi guys,
I received my Sota Toys Shin Akuma yesterday. I was trying to get the lights to work properly for the better part of the evening w/ no luck. I have e-mailed sideshow already regarding this issue so hopefully they will get back to me soon.

The problem I have is that the ON/OFF switch does not work properly and so does not keep the lights on when in the ON position. The statue and base are two separate pieces. The rock base holds the batteries and has the ON/OFF switch for the light up eyes feature. The left leg/foot of the statue has the inlet for the power and the right has a normal hole for the base pin. I am satisfied with the statue itself and have no problems with it at all. The only problem is that the lights don't working properly. Hopefully no one else will have this issue.

I don't have my regular camera on me so I took these quick shots with my iphone just to give you an idea what it looks like compared to the larger PF's. Once I get my regular camera I'll take additional pics if anyone request them. Jesse-

Nice custom. The new beads look sweet:monkey5. Don't forget to show us some more pics after you apply the second coat to show us the final product.

Thanks man, here is the final product. It's not much different than what you saw before, but I applied the second coat of paint and have the shirt displayed like the Shin, but with the belt on the outside (personal preference).
