The music is fine, the singing...
Probably could be a decent tune if Adele or someone with some vocal range did it. As it is, it's the worst since Goldeneye, but the music for that film in general was awful, so I don't know if that one could've been saved with decent vocals.

Yeah... What???? Goldeneye song is great and one of Bond's best.

Music in the film itself is awful. Eric Serra really gave no life to that score.

Spectre Soundtrack was awesome.

Enjoyed the call back to SF, like when Bond was next to the gift that M had given him.

Thought Tina Turner was pretty bad on that one and Eric Serra after years of John Barry spoiling me? Didn't work at all. Probably a big part of the reason I don't like Goldeneye that much.

Saw this movie last night. Good movie. Not spectacular. I'm probably not a big enough Bond fan to appreciate all the references. Octopussy and FRWL train fight were really the only ones I recognized. Movie reminded me more of Lethal Weapon 2 with the the whole "I killed your previous women" deal.

Like Rogue Nation another anti-climactic finale.

I'm getting sick of these movies constantly bringing up the issue of how "antiquated" traditional spies and their tactics are. Bond has been treated like some old relic since Goldeneye 20 years ago. Enough. Audiences like spies. We accept them. They're even major players alongside superheroes for crying out loud.

So quit wasting valuable screen time on hearings and whether this or that agency should be shut down or replaced and just give us two hours of superspies doing what they do.

I liked this movie a lot. I'd rate it about equally to Skyfall after one viewing. CR is still tops though with QoS being the weakest but by no means awful.

I think having Mr. White back was my favorite thing. I liked the closure to the past movies. I agree the motives of the villain were silly and Silva had no business being involved in this.

It's getting harder and harder for me to feel threatened by bad guys and their organizations in movies when real world bad guys and their organizations feel 100 X more scarier and are 100 x more destructive.

Blofeld's scheme comes off as weak sauce almost.

Wow, Spectre brought you out of retirement?

Overall thought it was good, but a bit anticlimactic. Liked the nod to Octopussy (my favorite because that and View to a Kill were all over cable in the 80's)

Didn't like how Bond got the everloving **** beat out of him and it didn't leave a mark. Even the close up of him holding hands with the new squeeze didn't show any busted knuckles. Quantum at least showed that stuff.

I disagree, it was totally in character as far as the Nolan Batman goes. The Nolan Batman was always looking for a way out. The whole plot of TDK (which everyone loves...apparently ) revolves around Batman looking for a replacement because he knew he couldn't do it for much longer.Even at the end of Begins, they allude to it being temporary. TDKR is a continuation of that. It's not the comic Batman...but he never was, besides...it's not like he hasn't retired in the comics or in the cartoons. Even in the current Batman issue, he's retired

Probably the only aspect I don't like about the DK trilogy is the lack of possibility of other, unseen adventures. It all happens within a pretty tight time frame. Hence I've turned to the Arkham game series as my "one true" Batman representation. It has a good balance of realism and comic book fantasy.

Of course I'll be watching BvS with interest.

Ever noticed there's not a lot of 'spying' in the Craig Bond movies? Kind of ironic for the king of spies.

I think they have plenty of spying especially CR but with the help he gets and the gadgets spying has just become very easy and quick which is why they I feel they kept sticking the assassin label on him. He tracks people or locations, gadgets locate them and Bond cleans up lol

James Bond film fairing especially well, enjoying the smallest second weekend franchise drop since Casino Royale, pushing the new title over $130 million.



Settling into #1 for a second weekend in a row, the 24th James Bond film, Spectre, brought in an estimated $35.4 million for only a 49.7% drop. As impressive as that may be, it's overseas where the film is making the most waves this weekend. After breaking records in the U.K., the film took in an estimated $48 million in China this weekend. If that estimate holds it's looking at China records as the largest opening weekend and largest opening three days of all time for any 2D US film. Add to that, it's already encroaching on the $59 million Skyfall made during its entire China run.



Of that China number, $4.6 million came from 246 IMAX screens, which was also a new three-day record for a November release, besting Interstellar. Spectre currently sits at $543.8 million worldwide, moving it into the top ten for the year.

SPECTRE also toppled Jurassic World as the top movie in the UK for 2015.
