The most expensive movie ever made is... this? Warning, a few spoilers in this article.

Sony hack: Next Bond movie is WAY over budget - Dec. 10, 2014

"The next James Bond movie, "Spectre," is massively over budget and on track to be one of the most expensive films ever made, costing more than $300 million."

Spoiler Spoiler:

"Craig's getting a huge payrise - his last Bond film, Quantum of Solace, earned him £4.4 million in 2008. For the most recent film 'Skyfall', Craig received £10.7 million."

RDJ supposedly made 50 million for IM3 alone.

so -50 million for RDJ, Avengers 2 still coming in 50 million under this Bond movie's budget. :lol

300 Million?! Seriously? Bond is the only property that MGM puts in theaters anymore, a budget like that could seriously cripple them if it doesnt make at least triple what it cost. They better be careful or they might find themselves on the auction block.

250 million budget for Avengers 2, minus 50 million for RDJ (CGI Cap, Iron Man, Stark Tower, Hulk, Ultron and an army of robots + CGI destruction = >200 million)

Over 300 million budget for Spectre, minus around 15 million for Craig (? = 300 million) and they're filming in Mexico to help save money

this is going to have to be some spectacle for that cash. Do they know they don't have to buy the countries they are filming in? :lol I just don't see this making more than an Avengers movie.

Yea I don't see how this can not flop based on that standard alone. But Skyfall was the first Bond to make a Billion. Maybe Blofeld will lure some old fans back?

Seeing as the Craig series is basically a reboot of Bond i'd expect that Mr White will be the link between Quantum and the birth of SPECTRE. From whats been said it looks like Blofeld is an alias that he adopts to cover his deception in taking over Quantum and starting up SPECTRE.

Wait, what the hell happened to Ralph Fiennes as M? Is he not in this? Who is "C, James Bond's new boss"?

50 million just for Downey? Hollywood is off the planet insane with their pay cheques now.

First look at snow Bond...

And a behind the scenes vid...

I hate snow environments for some reason. Also, you know a James bond actor is about to be done playing 007 when they put him in those snow settings. It never fails :lol

He looks sharp! Not much older than skyfall too which kinda helps :lol

I think that's because the whole story in Skyfall was that he was old, beat up and him looking like ****. But that story is over, so now he's back to having the athleticism and skills of a 30 year old. :lol They won't even acknowledge that he's getting older...nope, you won't even see a single grey hair on him.

Loved Skyfall but the Bond being 'Old and past it' thing struck me as odd - he only became a OO in Casino Royale and QoS took place immediately after that movie - did they jump ahead 10 years with Skyfall? It seemed too soon for them to take that angle with Craig's Bond.
