The only thing that bothers me is the big hypocrisy from the fans that love this. Guys are told they are disgusting for looking at nudie magazines and that porn is the same as cheating (as well as the feminists hoping all men die)

But when someone makes a torture porn story with a hot, rich guy then millions of women go to watch it.... So guys doing messed up, creepy stuff to women is completely okay as long as the guy is hot and rich.... Lol okay?


Patriarchy is alright as long as the male is a millionaire..... Cool story if the guy in the movie was a truck driver in his late 30s not only would the movie automatically become a horror movie... But these fans would be boycotting the film instead of watching it.....

The majority of posters in this thread have contributed more to figure reviews, and meaningful discussions on SSF than you have ever done in the inconsequential amount of your time here. But, I actually wouldn't mind a dark and gritty tone from the new movie. I don't mean anything close to the fan-trailer I posted. But, something more mature - just as a tip-of-the hat to the kids who used to watch the show, and have long since grown up.

I'm probably gonna get slaughtered for this, but I was a '90s kid and I never got into Power Rangers. I think my tastes have remained pretty much exactly the same as when I was little. I liked Batman and Superman, and that was just about it. I also quite enjoyed Cowboys, but that was an altogether different sort of programming from the Saturday morning Cartoon Network stuff.

Anyway, I watched the fan film, and I don't think I could understand what they set out to do, as, like I said, I had no frame of reference.

Nah, it's okay, I was the only one of my friends who was even into Power Rangers. I was really into Batman, too, and practically everything from the lineup on Fox Kids .

As for the fan film, I think the director just wanted to show what an "adult" version of Power Rangers could be like. It's pretty nonsensical.

The original Power Rangers movie actually did make them more adult and made the franchise a little bit darker (I say a little bit)
not sure if anyone else saw that movie but besides the awful CGI at the end the movie was pretty good, Specially the beginning. the movie still had some goofy stuff but it felt a lot better than the show.

I cant wait for the new movie, I just hope they bring back the original dinosaur costumes and not some new crazy crap like they tend to do, Original suits or I dont watch lol
