I have a few lightening brushes that I went through..there is 7 different ones in that picture.

Ahhh...didn't even think of the lightning brushes...

Yeah, I have some loaded into my copy of Photoshop, but I tend not to use them. I prefer drawing my own. Even still, you used them very effectively. Kudos again!!

You can also make them by doing a ton of steps using clouds..and duplicating, then inverting and yada yada yada...it creates lightning

I just make them similar to how I do lightsaber blades. They're not as realistic as yours, but they work just fine in a fantasy setting--especially since most of my pics tend to have a painting-like quality to them.
