Sorry for the pic-bombardement! I've been playing around using different kinds of lighting.

So, how big was it? Using a Star Wars figure as reference gives a good idea of the size of the animal. :)

The Mosasaur statue is pretty much in scale with the T. rex maquette.

Very pretty! Nice shot. You are right, Mosasaur is almost the same in size with T-rex.

Hello Robban. Thank you for these beautiful pictures. I want to ask you something. I saw that you live in Europe / Sweden. You ordered directly statue from Sideshow? If yes, please tell me how much it cost transport?

Hi tupuxuara. Thank you! :)

I payed $56.55 for shipping. Alot of money. But nothing compared to what I have to cough up when the tax bill arrives. :(

Great pics by all, & a beautiful sculpt/statue. Great job Sideshow!!!!

Finally made it home and grabbed some shots today too. These were taken with my phone and I'm (obviously) not as good with a camera as many on the forum. I'll try to get some additional pics once I get it position into my fossil case but for now here are some quick table top shots. #224/1000

All in all I really really love the Mosasaur, its a really beautiful pieces. It's definitely my favorite base of the entire line so far.

Ok.... it was KILLING me not to get it into the case tonight. :lol

All the teeth on the right are Mosasaur teeth and on the left is a trilobite philonyx and a (something I forget off the top of my head) fish from the Cretaceous.

Great photos, Chris! And a great collection! :clap

I don't know how many times I've thought to myself while unpacking a new figure/sculpt that, maybe I should document unpacking it. I never seem to have the discipline to do that. Poor self control from my side! :)

I've had the sculpt for a few days now. I have to say IMO that it is probably one of the best in the line. I can't fault the paint job on the Mosasaur itself, it is pretty much up there with the Carnotaurus. Overall the base is ok in the paint department. However, the shark and the smaller fish leaves a lot to be desired. The Mosasaur, fortunatelly, easily catches the focus of the viewer, so maybe it's not too noticable. :)

Here's a photo comparison between two favourites.

I love you, my dear friends. You are unbelievable, so much more beautiful pictures I have seen. I have a question for all lovers of this special line. I'd love us to do a top of statuettes of this line. From the most beautiful and successful, to the less pleasant. I saw on another forum Top 10 dinosaurs in this line, but now there are many more statues in this line. Waiting to see how many views, and as many tops. Best Regards Yves

My top: 1 Apatosaurus, 2 T-Rex Maquette , 3 Stegosaurus, 4 T-rex vs. Triceratops , 5 Allosaurus vs. Camarasaurus, 6 Styracosaurus Maquette , 7 Dilophosaurus Maquette, 8 Carnotaurus, 9 Spinosaurus , 10 Tupuxuara, 11 Euoplocephalus , 12 velociraptors vs Protoceratops, 13 Deinosuchus vs. Paralophulus. 14 Brachiosaurus in egg. Mosasaur not yet arrived in my collection, but definitely be second or first. I love a lot, this mega sculpture.
