I finished a brief repaint on my egg today.

I reworked the base in a darker color, and added some surface weathering to show off the sculpt. Big difference in person.

Out of the box, the egg's lips looked pretty rough too. They were too smooth and glossy. Your eye was drawn to them because they looked a little fake. I added some matte finish age spots in that area to breathe more life into it. Looks way better in person, though I'm not sure if the pics really do it justice. I also threw in a little surface detail just to vary the overall color on the egg skin.

Nope, I got an email from them saying it will be a month before they send me the correct adapter.
