What a tasty piece this is. I ordered her last week, she showed up today. I know it's old hat to say so, but pics really don't do this fine lady justice.

Very nice. Anyone else get the Sheva body for this baby yet?
I got one last week for her, but Sheva really is quite a bit darker. Being that Machiko is supposed to be Japaneses, I don't want mine that dark. The other problem I have is whether or not I'm willing to tear off all of her gear because the customizing I did to her required some glueing. In some areas, I'd basically have to start over. And getting just the arms swapped is going to be nearly impossible without damaging something, like the skin.
Given the Sheva skintone, I'm thinking it's probably best if I just wait to get a future Hot Toys T2 Sarah Connor figure with seamless arms to use.
My other train of thought is to go with what Hot Toys kinda gave us anyway, and that's a hybrid of characters. This piece is neither Machiko (Japanese) as depicted in the books, nor is it Lex from AVP, the Sheva body goes along with the hybrid vision. What if Machiko isn't Japanese, but actually some hot, tanned Hawaiian or other tropical beauty? I think the head would transfer fine to the darker body, especially with dreads.

Hahahaha! You are to much bro. Well the head is actually at a darker tone and closer to the Sheva body than the original Machiko body tone. And even if she is Japanese. All that running around with other Predators of her clan in jungle like surroundings (since preds like hot weather) with a lot of sun, she's bound to get some tan. Can't imagine a pale human pred. I believe she was pretty tanned in the comics too.

Yeah, I couldn't resist. I'm actually switching it over now. After all, the Machiko I'm modifying is the one I call "Amazon machiko".

Yeah, the more I thought about it, the Sheva body made more sense after all, especially since the headsculpt isn't Japanese, but Yuli's Angelina Jolie.
Well, the operation was successful. All armor transferred and the head. I have to go do that Christmas thing with the adults instead of playing with my toys right now, so pics will have to wait.

Didn't have much time to get back to my computer last night, but, yes, I got it. Had to think about the prices. Responding there now.
Busy Christmas, but a nice one. Anyway, here are some pics of my Amazon Machiko with the more tanned Sheva body. I don't like that there doesn't seem to be any swivel action in the upper arms, but I think it's a good tradeoff to have the more realistic, jointless arms. Makes this figure look amazing with no visible articulation lines anywhere. Love it.
And of course I painted the nipple, too.

There is a sublte, but noticable difference in the skin tone, and while I don't fully agree that her head matches the Sheva body better, I do think it looks damn nice on Sheva too. The shading on the Machiko head definitely blend well, and I don't mind her face looking a little lighter and more madeup.

Well, it's not porn, and everybody knows what the Hot Angels body looks like, and it's being diplayed as a character, not a pinup. I'm more worried about Photobucket. They actually have deleted previous figures of this toy.

Nicely done bro. Looking good. The shade difference between the head and the body is barely noticeable. I always thought the regular Machiko body was too pale.

I love it, looks really superb! It is a different vision of this great figure, you made it look even more awesome. 
This is not porn or obscene imagery, it is art. Sculptors, painters all had nudes models. Hot Toys could have made the body without nipples but they didn't. I'm glad Photobucket didn't delete them either. As long as some of the members here won't start bashing I'm sure the pics will stay up.
