Really? I was hoping it was going to be like a real time vampire show, it ended up being softcore vamp porn.

Im excited to go this year, should be wicked. Crossing my fingers to get some stuff signed. The sideshow pannel will be good, ill be nice a tipsy by then. Its comic con you gotta start early on everything.

Quick question for those who have driven there, how early did you have to go to get a parking spot?

You think True Blood is softcore vamp porn? Ok whatever.:lol:rotfl Last time I checked this is a collectibles forum, Not a porn forum. Lets keep it that way.

I'll pass it along, but I honestly don't think we have much 'sway' when it comes to what time they schedule us for - we take what we can get, what with the panels being overbooked as it is... there's a wait list this year!

Wow! A wait list! That is insane.

But thanks for passing it along at least. I hope there isn't anything I want to go to during that time because I love the Sideshow panel. Thanks Dusty :duff

no need to get angry, you brought up true blood. one should take his own advice before giving it.

back to the topic at hand...

when do they release what panels will be there anyway. Last year for me was just kinda stumble in and make it through those crowds. The owlship was freaking incredible.

^^^^ the underground parking is usually full by 8am. 7am on the weekend.

You're kidding...the doors open that early or do people just camp out in their cars? It was mad hot last time in the sandy eggo and I cant imagine sitting in a metal box on wheels.

Im coming from OC, so I was just trying to plan ahead of time and seeing what to expect.

Any suggestions? We got setup at la quinta, booze is just a stumble away.
Was planning on dragging some figs around to get signed, but didnt wanna carry a heavy hellbaby all day so wanted to drop it off in the car. We went last time at 9am and the parking lot was jaaammmmed.

 This might not be the best place to ask the following but I will give it a go:

I was wondering, if there are any people here planning to camp out/go to line really early for the Iron Man 2 panel? I'm a girl coming alone as a first-timer from Finland, and I'm looking for company/friends to camp out with (and also "camp" inside Hall H, where I assume that the panel will be held) :lol So, if there is anyone out there also looking for such company, please let me know! :rotfl I'm hoping to make the camping etc. more fun (and definatelly more practical!)

"Camping" in Hall H really isn't that bad. Usually the biggest and best panels are in there so you rarely have to sit through something bad, even if you aren't into it. I've never seen Hall H 100% full. There are usually plenty of empties on the back rows, but I've seen them close the doors until the next panel. As long as you are there at least one panel before Iron Man 2 you should be fine. My guess is The Twilight panel will be just as hard, if not harder to get into than IM2. I had no problem getting into either of the previous films' panels though.

here's are some panel Fox will be doing

The Star Wars Spectacular! will air Saturday July 25th at 2:00pm ET/PT only on G4, and will feature never-before-seen footage, breaking news, surprise announcements, guest stars and more. In addition, G4 will present three hours of live coverage from the Comic-Con floor, beginning at 4:00pm ET/PT.

But this year, G4 -- the network that delivers all of the latest and greatest news on comic books, games, technology and pop culture -- is offering TV viewers the one-of-a-kind opportunity to share the excitement with an exclusive broadcast of the panel. G4's Attack of the Show hosts Kevin Pereira and Olivia Munn will join Lucasfilm's Steve Sansweet and a galaxy of guests from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and beyond -- including supervising director Dave Filoni, and voice talent from the show -- to provide an insider look at the Star Wars universe, with never-before-seen footage and a LIVE table read of an exclusive new Clone Wars script.

yawn. With no new movie, all the panel will have is Clone wars material and voice talent from the show. What a snore. I understand Dave Feloni is the director of the clone wars series but it just seems like he's every where! I'm sure if you have a Star Wars themed barbeque in your backyard he'd show up unannounced as a "special guest" just cuz'.
