I have sculpted army helmets and fantasy warrior helmets before on to figures useing milliput but im interested in finding out how to sculpt them so they are removeable. one idea i have is saren wrap the head and sculpt on top of it. so 1 question is would it be possible to do that and still be able to remove the saren wrap once it hardens? 2nd question is does anyone know of a better material or product to use as a barrier between head and milliput?

I use similar technique. I put aluminum paper over the head, mold the helmet with an air hardening clay. I remove it almost immediately as these clays are firmer than milliput, let it dry and then dremmel the inside!:)

Well im up for trying anything ill give the foil a try! In about 2 days my order of milliput will arrive but i have some ammco stonex air hardening clay sitting around here some where haha ill try the foil with that first!
