Reward Points/Pre Order question

If I use reward points in a pre order purchase and something comes up and need to cancel the order, the points don't get used right?

Yea, that is kind of a crappy way to do it too. No reason they could not credit those back if they wanted. Not enough you lose rewards when using them in the 1st place, but to risk points used too is scary.

That's really why it's best to just save them till you can buy something outright with the points... Advice I never took, BTW.

Technically you do spend $400 on your own and should be rewarded for that portion. Therefore, the best part is, if to use reward point, use for the full amount.

If you use reward points to pay for a statue in full do you have to pay an NRD?

I would guess not but I've never paid for a statue in full using reward points so I really don't know.
