Real "ghost" stories

What's up Skiman. Yeah you can search under Sleep Paralysis, Shadow People, Old Hag Syndrome, Night Terrors or Succubus. It has many names. I agree that the most mysterious thing about this is that lots of people have the same visions. That right there is a trip. These sightings have been reported for thousands of years and have been depicted in many paintings.

I'll be hooked on this subject for quite sometime, wow those paintings are just creepy. I feel for those that have this for the rest of their lives, that is truly not something I would want to have problems with sleeping day to day.

Damn i wish i had your job Murderofcrows71. I did try for ages to get into it about 15yrs ago but i couldn't find anyone local to me at the time. After seeing a ghost and a black swirling tentacled mass of an entity as well as other things at different homes i lived in over the yrs, i started going to particular places reknowned to be haunted, and theres plenty of them in the UK. Its been fun ive seen and felt quite alot on my own and in groups.

Some great stories here on this thread. I too have gone through sleep paralysis much like the ones mentioned on this thread but I wasn't able to see the old hag or man but rather a black shadow "cloud" that moves around. I also get the feeling like there is a presence in the room and a great sense of fear rushes through me and I am not able to move or speak. What I see though is a formless black cloud moving around and then comes directly almost zooming towards me and goes directly to my head almost like its trying to go into my brain. Immedietly afterwards I start to shake similar to like like an electric shock or like a seizure. I then have a "battle" with the spirit as I try to shake it off with my mind. I feel as though its almost trying to get inside of me or something. In my mind I am scared but then I get a sense of bravery and say in my mind "c'mon mother *$#4#@" and continue to fight it, lol. I then eventually shake it off and then wake up in a great adrenal rush. This has happened to me many times but has not happened to me recently. I think in a way I was able to "fight" it off by overcoming the fear. I learned to almost control the fear by just making myself stronger mentally. I haven't had an experience like this in a while but I know if it happens again I am ready for it. The last few times I was able to "fight" it off quicker and quicker until it was gone.

I know what you mean. When I try to break free from this spell or paralysis, I would make myself angry and cuss..."F### You...F### You...F### You" and then when I wake up it's like the biggest adrenaline rush. I basically try anything to shake it off. It's been a couple of years since I've had these bouts. Thank God.

Here's what I don't get how come I don't see any of the visions(not that I want to), I still get the feeling there is a presence in the room but never see it, and why does my brother experience it too? I gotta tell ya guys though that I would sometime be lying in bed, in my parents house and we never had money for AC but would feel a cold chill in the air sometimes kinda like a cloud or something. I think after I started noticing it I started getting the sleep paralyze though I never saw ghost at the house, my sister now lives in my old room I wonder if she gets the old hag syndrome.

It would suck if I have a ghost following me around where ever I go now. Also I wonder what is the significance to us getting these feelings in our sleep?

Too many fake ghost videos on Youtube. Notice the cart moves towards the case as if a string is pulling it from around the corner. And notice all the boxes fall on the side the camera is on. How convenient is that?

My ghost, as of last Saturday, hid an important tool that I always put back in the same place. I have just scoured my room, again, and I am about to just clean the entire area in hopes of finding it. This is annoying.

Man that sucks. I wonder if this is the ghost that steals all of my socks. I always seem to be missing socks for some reason, lol, and they are nowhere to be found ever. Hope you find your missing tool though.
