Hello,

I own a 1997 E3 press kit from Capcom, which is special because it includes a set of 35mm slides. Besides these, it contains most of the sheets found here:

[Capcom 1997 E3 Press Kit](https://archive.org/details/capcom-e3-1997-press-kit/Capcom%201997%20Press%20Kit%201%20%28Compressed%29/page/n1/mode/1up)

I recently learned that back then, digital projectors with their scaling and deinterlacing looked awful. Therefore, CRT projectors were the only viable option for quality presentations, although they were only used in light-controlled showrooms due to their low brightness. Otherwise, if TV screens or multicam monitors weren't large enough, slides were shown or given to privileged attendees. That's what I understand, and I'm keen to learn more about why these high-quality slides were included in the press kit. My set is missing one slide, which might have been left in the projector at E3 itself.

I recently received a surprisingly high offer from a buyer in the Emirates, but they did not meet my safety standards for the transaction. Given the astonishing amount offered, which made me cautious about the press kit, I've decided to seek more information.

Thank you very much for reading.

I've no insight to offer so apologies in advance, but wow, what a cool set this is. I had no idea that's how they would've shown off screenshots at press events.

It doesn't surprise me that you had a high offer, it is a rare item and the first I've seen. Twelve years ago I sold my set of RE2 trading cards, I was amazed it went for over $300. Kind of wish I kept them though!

Thank you guys...you appreciations are appreciated. You have an idea where I could ask for further information?
