350 isn't that high :< But I don't think he'll sell out as I don't see the demand for PoTA being too high so I feel like this probably the end of that line :/

I think you maybe wrong on this not selling out, you have to remember the age group that grew up on the original films are in there 40's and 50's and are probably looking for something that's more high end then the Neca line and are looking for something that when displayed looks like a work of art, I could be wrong, but if am right will probably see more high end Apes statues.

I hope I'm wrong ><

Unfortunately, this logic didn't help the sales of the Sideshow Dr. Zaius Premium Format statue years ago... the low sales killed any hope of another in that line.

Well... I bought one. :wink1:

I want a definitive sculpt of Roddy McDowall as an ape... preferably as Cornelius.

I'm a sucker for Ape Glyphs!

760$ is very fair considering size, ES and details, US residents shouldn't even bother about high shipping costs or customs fees. The Dark Rider was 850$ a pair of years ago and nowhere near the amount of details this piece has.

Do you have to pay the entire $760 to get the 20% discount up front? If so that's along wait from the time you pay and shipping.

Where does PCS stuff ship from? I'm trying to guesstimate what my total cost would be for this and I've never dealt with them before.

CA normally, though I remember something about them moving their offices to Nevada now? I'd imagine like 60-70$ shipping to texas tbh. Maybe a bit more (2 boxes or one BIG box).

More pics of the good general has surfaced on Pop Culture Shock's Facebook page.

This statue is great, IMO, but I don't see it selling many. PCS might cut the ES if that happens and this thing might skyrocket in value.
