I just got a Nikon D3200, and I'm loving it. It takes really great pictures. I'm still learning about various things, but I'm getting the hang of it nicely. I'll probably need advice from time to time.

Is the 10 -22 a better lense then the standard 18-55 lenses?

The wide lens is used completely differently. The wide lens is used to add emphasis and detail to foreground objects, while still capturing expansive backgrounds, for example a flower in the foreground can look gigantic against a field full of flowers.

I use the 18-55 for general shots.

been slack in that department. couldn't accommodate such learning curve with a busy schedule. what software are you using?
