How about a little petition to persuade DC Direct to make Tim Bruckner's Flash for DC Dynamics, which of course means wooing Bruckner to come back and work for (or run) DC Direct.

Who's with me?

Post this in any other forum or anywhere else that is appropriate.

Tweet it and face book it too.

Tweet this: @DC_NATION should get @THBruckner to do his Flash DC Dynamics statue and probably let him run the statue arm of DCDirect.

While I admire and like the idea, the tanks have rolled on this matter and no fanboy online petition will change that. Just saw the pics of the Flash piece in question and it looks incredible. How Supergirl got released before this just goes to show that someone is asleep at the wheel at DCD.

I don't think it's quite right to dismiss anything as a "fanboy online petition" and all but shoots the idea in the foot before it can gain any momentum. Sometimes the voice of the consumer does matter although I acknowledge that's not often the case. Since the the edition sizes are generally 1,500 or so, getting 1,500 people to Tweet or post here and there isn't out of the question.

Here's what we could have had, Bruckner's roughed version of the DC Dynamics Flash that he posted on his Facebook page and was posted here: https://statueforum.com/showpost.php?p=3902753&postcount=12

Plus, the Supergirl Dynamics was great. The worst of the bunch was easily Batman.

JB, I didn't mean to rain on your parade. I love Tim's work and have many of his pieces and I'm all for Tim running and cleaning house at DCD. Realistically though, getting Warner/DC to listen much less act on an online petition to change status quo? seems highly unlikely. Instead I will show my support by following Tim's career no matter where he goes and buying future pieces no matter where he goes. For the record, I would have also loved to have seen that Flash. Love the lightning effects.

Sure it's unlikely. But stranger things have happened when people use the internet. :D

There have been over 50 responses and more than 1560 views of the petition over at the StatueForum.

I've posted the petition here and elsewhere too:

Most people seem to feel that they'd buy this statue if it was made. Unfortunately, few people have any faith it will get made.

I just had this thought: DC Direct could get two for one out of this statue by releasing a simple repaint as a Reverse Flash DC Dynamics. That's twice the reason for making this!

Now it's up to five! It's more than doubled overnight!

Also, DCD could do a repaint of this and release a Prof. Zoom Dynamics as well. It would be a big money maker!

Thanks.

I'm sure it won't matter either.

On the other hand, suppose there were 2,000 signatures. That might make them sit up and take notice since the edition sizes are generally in the 1,000 piece range.

On the other hand, the petition has been up for months and gotten only six signatures, so . . .
