PCS 1:4 Mixed Media He-Man Statue

I am currently sat here signing the art prints I am in the UK and I have to send them back over to the US in the next few days. So by all means blame me for any delay.

I am seriously excited to receive mine. Not that I have a clue where to put it. Aside from one, I have every single MOTU statue ever made, from NECA to PCS to Sideshow. Right only two PCS and two SS statues on display. But this new set is going to be flippen huge!!

The number of statues has more than doubled in that pic in my signature ...space is limited. However, I did purchase a display specifically for He-Man and Battlecat and anticipating Skeletor and Panthor in future. The space is ready for the arrival this week!

When I started collecting, Marvel and DC only was my plan. I've stuck to it except for this, my favorite toy as child. Marvel and DC characters have their own spot, so He-man and Battlecat should too....Hopefully with villains in future.

I'm anxious to receive your artwork with the combo but someone reported that it didn't arrive with their combo. Do you have any info on this?

nice! I hollowed out a Besta for these guys. They should both just fit I hope!

These are huge pieces and really awesome. Heman was a lot taller than expected, I dont know why he seemed more low profile to me- maybe because of his wide low stance. Could have sworn the stated height on him was 22 inches, but with his sword he tops out at just under 27 inches. He will fit in a besta though if you remove the sword. Paint app is really well done, subtle flecks on his skin and light bluing around his veins. Super happy with him- he’s my childhood toy come to life. Pretty cool touch they included a pair of white gloves. Also a neat effect of the rock at his foot falling away. My first PCS piece and after such a long wait I wouldnt mind waiting so long again for a Skeletor and Panthor of this caliber.

Haven’t opened He-Man yet, but I popped Battlecat open. Looks great overall. My only gripe is that the neck seam is a little awkward and the jagged lines are apparent. That, and a tiny speck of his head chipped loose when the magnet pulled the head tight. I was very careful—just appears that the seam wasn’t a good fit. The little chip went flying across the room! I’ll have to inquire about it.

Battlecat is pretty awesome but yeah that magnet on the helmet head took me by surprise. I got a tiny chip also- I’ll probably just paint over it and it should disappear. The magnet on the EX head isnt super strong so when the helmet head grabbed it took me by surprise. The Helmet head comes in two pieces- a magnetic piece with a super strong magnet that hooks under a lip near the battery compartment on the actual head part. Best bet is to assemble the two parts of the head and cup your hand in around the magnet and slowly pull it out after the magnet starts pulling. Those jagged hair pieces can chip right off otherwise when that magnet catches. The seam is pretty harsh, bad if your close up- noticeable but not too bad if further away. The helmet head covers most of the seam. I was all for the EX head before but now kind of leaning toward the helmet head- just looks really awesome to have all the armor on- the seam being gone too is a bonus. Really nice details on the mouth. Paint is excellent. The eyes in all the pics on the EX looked acrylic to me but theyre not- just really glossy paint. Other than the seam on the EX, this piece is pretty much perfect... and HUGE lol.

I still prefer the unmasked head. As for He-Man, I hate to break up the set but I just don’t have room for him. Probably headed for eBay.

Not the best lighting on these ones but here you go. The Besta isnt ideal but it works for me for now. I do think the full armor side profile beats the EX profile. I think the EX head would look better if you could display him from more of a head on angle. Might just be me.
