I was gonna post up a thread on my own, but saw that this one got bumped up, so I figured, "ahhhhhh what dee hell!?!"

I got this in the mail today from BioHunter76 (the Boar Bio from the end of Predator 2) - I LOVE THIS HELMET!

Surprisingly, $200! There was one on ebay that the guy claimed was he bought from Casey (BioHunter), and he said it was unpainted, and he did it himself. Well, I was going to buy it, but thought twice about the recasters that sell, so I went to The Hunter's Lair forum to ask around if anyone could tell if it was a recast. A lot of members told me to contact Casey directly, and I did.

He cut me the same deal for one directly from him! I was stunned! He's got a new one I HAVE to buy soon called the Narin (a full scale version of a helmet from a Narin kit) - and it looks incredible. His shipping only took two days! The helmet itself, took about fifteen to get done and painted, but man it was SO worth the wait to open a box and find that!

Very cool and guy nice guy, generous on the deal he cut me, and possibly saved me from buying a crappy recast. I'll be buying strictly from him now! (as you can tell, I'm a satisfied customer)

I have some of Biohunters masks as well and they are fantastic......planning on getting maybe two more in the future to go with the ones already on display.............they look ace in a row

I could be mistaken but I think that's 1:1 scale not for a figure, looks too detailed.

yup. 200$ for A 1/6 biohelmet is TOO MUCH EXPENSIVE!!

That is seriously the most gorgeous version of the Boar's bio I've ever seen. Great score man! There are some incredibly talented artists out there now, and some really interesting customs have been showing up on ebay lately, but that Boar bio puts most of them to shame!!!

My Wolf bio finally shipped from Sideshow! I won't get to drool over it till this summer, but I'm so glad I got on the wait list for one of those. Jamal helped convince me I needed one... and now you've got me thinking I need a couple more bios to keep it company. Here are a couple I've been watching recently:

Btw, on a slightly different subject, I finally found some Predator goodies from nosferatoys up on the bay and it looks like I'll be adding some new 1:6 bios to my trophy room. One of them is the Boar's mask and I think I'm going to repaint it to look like yours!

Edit: Well, I got outbid in the last few seconds for that Boar bio! $50.00 is way more than I wanted to spend. I'll wait for another chance. Managed to pick up the Gort and Demon masks, though, so not too bummed.

Cool to see everyone liking that bio! I'm gonna have to do a video on it, it's too damn pretty not to! I could kick my ass for missing out on Sideshow's Wolf Bio, damn it.

But, BioHunter pretty much has any helmet I could think of - so I'm not outta luck entirely. Next good payday I have at the casino (and don't worry, I'm smart with my money, PROMISE!), I'm gonna at least get one more Bio for the collection while we wait for Hot Toys to release the 1/6 Predator 1.

But uh, if anyone is lookin to get some helmets, I'd totally recommend hitting up [email protected] and talkin to him.

---And mudshark, that first helmet looks like one that was called the "Goth" that was made by a member of the Hunter's Lair, not very many were made at all. It's not full scale, but it's sexy as hell! And that Celtic looks REALLY well painted.

Very interesting paint job on that one. I also found one for sale in kit form. It appears to be the same bio as the first auction, only unfinished. Mighty tempting...

^Yes. Anytime you can get a Hot Toys Pred at or close to retail it is a great deal.

wow cool, it's your work? i think HT have to do a similar work, there's to change only overall paint on the body, take away the upper belt, change the dreads rings but apart these it's very well done

Pretty sweet, as you said on the other board, interior mandibles could use some more paint work and the coloration on the head isn't really correct to the film, no reds and such, but pretty solid. The spiny look on the forehead from the Elder doesn't work so great IMO, goes to show HT can't just repaint, or at least shouldn't just repaint, the Elder head and call it a P1, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did.
