batman animated is one of the greatest shows ever.
deak...i just started watching the new thundercats. i have to say it is pretty dang cool and i am a pretty big old school thundercats fan. my kids are digging it as well.
i picked up the classics lion-o and tygra (along with the sdcc lion-o). i really dig lion-o. tygra is ok but, like mando said, some of the paint apps are kind of wonky. i also picked up some of the 4'' figures today. no thundertank yet though. i saw it at tru and figured i would pick one up at wm or target but the only place i have seen the figures other than tru is kmart.
I agree 100%, and on Tygra I am waiting to find the best paint. His eyes are usually whats off.
The new show really is fantastic and is literally the only reboot of an 80's cartoon other than GI Joe Resolute that I've really liked (and new TC has the same art director from Resolute!)
The voice actor for the new Lion-O said that they all love the original TC and don't want to taint it. He literally stated that their goal is to make the new show the Batman: TAS of Thundercats. So far I'd say they're doing it!
Yeah, Dan Norton. He's AWESOME, I hit him up on DeviantArt. I hope I hear back from him.
They both have their pluses and minuses, I picked up WilyKit today on lunch. Can't find a Cheetara for ____. Also saw the Tower of Omens. Looks bland.

I actually almost bought Cheetara when I got Lion-O, but if I did it would've just been on whim and I didn't want to wreck the set for the next guy to come in find.

I did the same thing yesterday. I've been trying to obtain the 4" TC line-up for 1-1/2 wks (5 different TRU, 3 Walmarts, 1 K-Mart) with only the Thunder Tank, X2 Thunder Racers, Lion-O, Tygra, Mumm-Ra & Deluxe Mumm-Ra, & Grune.
I gotta admit, it was like hunting for the 200X MOTUs years ago!

Hit up walmart after work to return something for my wife and decided to stroll thru the toys section and score!!! I got me a deluxe Mummra and the 4 inch mummra. Is there a 6 inch mummra as well....just curious cause i'll have to get him also if there is. Plus I want the lizard man.

Yes there is a 6" Mummra, the lizard so far as I know only comes as a deluxe figure with a catapult, I think. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of pictures around, if not look on EBay, some unknown individual (flipper) will have one for sale and he’ll have pictures.

picked up the thundertank yesterday. it is pretty cool. my son loves it. really digging the figures so far as well. seems to be a great toy line so far. now i just need to find the tower of omens.

Stopped by walmart today, all sold out except for a few little 4 inch mummras. They did have the thunder tank and the tower of omens. No lizard man with catapult. I have a feeling if I hit TRU i'll find him. I I think im going to just take my chances with going back to walmart at various odd times.

picked up the tower of omens, lizard w/ cannon, grune, and all three 6'' figures today at tru. they had about seven of the 4'' mumm-ra and two of the classic tygras left. nothing at two walmarts though.
