HMMMMM so what do you guys think? THIS or the Kaustic Plastik??

i may be mistaken; but kaustik plastik is only offering the "arena version" right? i like the final battle version better but it seems pangea is offering a deluxe pack that gives you both looks.

Kaustik plastic is Tigris arena version there are subtle changes in costume like the protective net from barbarians is not there in Tigris fight. Also helmet is a must in the barbarian fight others not so much! Those are the reasons I am inclining to Pangea over kp but Pangea body sucks a bit - hence am confused!

Th joint as of now and what I see form the pics looks horrible - except that I really like the Pangaea version more from an accuracy standpoint

I am surprised the head sculpt for the barbarian battle is looking towards his left! Will look weird when in the helmet! Hope a straight eye version comes with that

doesn't look like it. Looks there are two versions, one with a straight on look obviously is the way to go with the helmet on.

If you see the way pics are shown the barbarian version with net on his outfit has his eyes sideways. But that's the outfit / scene he wears the helmet with! The straight one is shown more with Tigris fight in all the pictures so I think it's a problem if each set does not come with 2 sculpts!

Liking this one, cheaper option then the kp and the helm is nice too, though the kp has metal parts

I'm in the same boat, have the KP on PO but there's now this which looks a little better. Does anyone know if a CM toys body will work with this set?

From my personal experience I would say no.
I have both the cmtoys and the new coo models body (which are almost identical)
and both of them have a very thick torso.
Judging from the armor the cmtoys spartacus had (it was made specifically for a cmtoys body),
the aci version probably will not work with this.

But on this video (08:25)
I just saw a guy put a cmtoys armor on an aci body.
So until someone has it in hand or we receive info from aci, we 're in the dark.
