Around 39cm wide, 38cm high and 28 cm deep. With a little bit of play to make sure it fits in every detolf out there.

This could work very nicely for my home made display shelves. How much play in the height? I think 38 would just be snug as a bug in a rug.

Thank you. Also, have you ever considered making custom bases with light up features? I could imagine those really nice metal floors with some great illuminations from the side and floor, thinking along the lines of the older Sideshow bases, but larger.

Do you have pictures?

I was thinking of the nice floors you create with the sides lit as seen in the DV base, or possibly a larger floor like the Boba Fett Base.

Oh that'd be cool. Problem is height, some figures (Vader, chewie, IG88, k2so) are already so tall. But if joost could make it thin enough that's a great idea, an entire shelf replacement maybe.

Hmmm I might look into that in the future, but I have a few other ideas I am working on first

Ooh, well I will just wait for the eye candy. I was suggesting this because i have a few displays that my wife would prefer a smaller accent to the figure. The dioramas are going to be perfect for my future office (working on a second floor), but the rest of the locations for my displays are almost out of space for anything larger. I am supposed to build them myself, my wife likes the creative aspect, but I like Joost's quality of work and film accurate precision.

Tell your wife Joost designs them, you put them together so it's a creative collaboration!

Instantly pre-ordered with the Tantive Service Corridor.

And I am not even a big Star Wars fanatic. IMO these Diarama's give a collection a big needed showcase boost.

Cant wait for the next projects =]

Here is the second to final prototype for the deluxe Death Star v2, unpainted. Also, LEDs and white plexi to follow.

It will be a kit that can work as a standalone or detolf diorama, machined from 2.5 and 4 mm solid aluminum.

We have updated the construction so that it is simple to assemble and disassemble but impossible to tip over or otherwise make it fall apart

I have to buy more figures just so I have excuse to buy this diorama.

I got mine a few days ago. It's tricky to actually get in the Detolf, but it looks great.

I think Han and Chewie's heights, plus Han and Luke wearing the same outfit makes it work with four figures. Usually I do two per shelf in Detolfs.

Looking great! I love it. I think it works fine with for figures, even though I agree that I usually don’t like more than two in there

That diorama is fantastic. It's the handmade, artisan, carefully crafted version to my IKEA version. I just wish I had the space to display it! :)
