Regarding the statue, they mention resin kit, does this mean the statue has too be built and painted or will they offer a painted kit as in the pictures above?

I understand the statue in Giger's possesion has no elbow spikes (which is probably why the Marmit spikes are exaggerated, but they should at least add them in bc they are technically missing details...

I want the regular version -- the special is the idealized / enhanced paint job right?

Just got this from good folks at Roswell Japan. Looks like there will be a total of 3 versions. The good thing is, this time the editions are much friendlier if comparing with the first release. Really interested to see what the "Special Limited Edition" looks like.

What weird timing. I was just searching for new info on this today, and here you post this. Awesome.

I think I'm down for a kit even though painting that rib pattern inside the dome is going to be very hard to make look right. Maybe the normal version with my own paint enhancement will be the way to go with this if the price difference isn't gigantic.

I.m so excited by this news...i think I prefer the black version even if the special colors version is more accurate...maybe its my attachment to the original kenner figure which was black...

Roswell Japan confirmed that the height of the piece is at around 19"(48.7 cm) with the base.
