Hit Girl is an instant buy she looks great. I don't like Superman, but that Superman figure looks nice too. Dark Knight Returns Batman isn't bulky enough though I imagine it's probably pretty hard to mass produce a body that can work with the ridiculous proportions from the comic.

Hit Girl looks good it the others look like Gimps. And after seeing all the amazing Dark Knight Returns customs, the one from Medicom looks comical.

Oh dang five hundred dollar customs top the mass produced stuff? World must be ending :panic:

Nice. More figures to get when they go for discounted prices :yess: :lol

Cape looks messed up, but overall, Superman looks pretty cool to me, weird skinny waist & all.

I think the black and grey "Hush" variant is actually All-Star Batman. He seemed to always have that scowl on his face in that series.

I kind of really like Supes, but won't get it. The SS version looks miles better.
Not too fond of TDKR Bats here. Don't think the headsculpt is Miller enough.

Finally, finally, finally, a comic accurate Superman based on the pre-52 Jim Lee style. I am down for all three. Medicom is doing it right. The body for Supes, just like the Hush Batman, seems to be the Fist of the Northstar body so anyone who might be skeptical about the scale, don't worry as these are as tall or taller than the Hot Toys Batman figures. I'm guessing the Dark Knight Returns Batman is a mix of the Fist of the Nortstar and maybe the Comic Venom figure.

I can't believe Medicom is doing a Dark Knight Returns figure. I would not have guessed in a million years that we would get a 1/6 figure of Frank Miller's Batman and he's awesome. I'm gettin' doubles.

Both look really odd and the ruberized body suits are kinda pornish really what were they thinking DC naughty. Also these type suits break down super fast and deteriate with heat and humidity so i hope you going to be putting them in a temp controled enviroment. especially this cheep material they use for 1/6th scale latex would have held up better.

Yuk everything looks cheap as hell from the suit materila to those body proportions.

I have the first hush batman and in hand it was a huge disapointment.

I think the material used isn't so fragile that it needs to have a temp controlled room.

& I liked it so much I purchased another :lol

Pre order price right now for Catwoman & Harley is around $140. If that's also the price for this Superman, & the rest of Medi figures shown in this thread, then I'd say that's not actually too bad of a price, in comparison to other 1/6 figure pricing.

If these were $99 (which isn't that far from $140), I think the tone of this thread would be quite a bit different.

Hit Girl looks solid. DKR has some pretty sharp bits, but I doubt any of it will really be viable because of Medicom's scale.

What bothers me is why aren't HT or SSC delivering on the Bat-goodness?

I don't think so. Jim Lee fashioned All-Star Batman's chest insignia after Frank Miller's TDKReturns Batman, only a tad smaller and more stylized. Also worth noting is the more classic capsule-type utility belt AS Batman has.

This Medi Batman is just a black variant of Hush design, akin to Kotobukiya's statue.

Where have you seen $140? That's a great deal for the gals!

Yep. I was on the fence about getting these Hush figures. Then I saw them at a LCS and they were instantly put in the category of all the medicom I have. I'll pick them up if I can get them cheap ( $50-75 ). Otherwise, no thanks. The bodies are the worst. And the shiny suits are laughable to me. For these to have an initial retail of @ $130 ( ASM $250 :slap ), they are way overpriced and don't compare to SS figures let alone HT figures.

Didn't look that closely at the emblem. So it could be either an inaccurate Hush variant (he didn't wear black and grey) or an inaccurate All-Star Batman (wrong logo).
