"Professional" critics have totally lost touch with what the average movie goer wants from a film.

They treat every movie like it's competing for an academy award.

I grew up on quality junk exploitation cinema at seedy drive ins and theaters right next door to porn houses you name the quality junk movie from the 70’s/80’s and it’s on my shelf.

Quality junk cinema does not offend me if anything I embrace them as much as I embrace the genre greats.

When I was told I needed to watch “Felini” I would say screw Felini and put on Street Trash.

Now you notice I said quality junk because even junk cinema has its own level of standards that need to be met for me to give them my attention.

So yes i’ll give this movie a chance but if it starts feeling like that Mummy remake i’m walking the **** out lol

I hate the look of Hellboys face.. Looks like a toothless old witch.

Its been a long time since I skipped out on this kind of movie but I am passing on seeing this in the theater.

Back in the 80's there were tons of low budget, fun, gory, gonzo horror films. Movies like Re-animator, Evil Dead 2, Troll, Society,Waxwork and countless others. Hellboy is in the same vein, high quality trash. But in this century it seems that folks just don't appreciate these sorts of movies anymore.

This Hellboy movie definitely looks like trash...not sure about the high quality part but definitely trash...Evil Dead 2 though...?nope...no trash there what-so-ever...that film is just a straight up masterpiece. This Hellboy looks like it will fit in perfectly with Troll and the other trash...I don't know anyone that thinks Evil Dead 2 is trash though.

Oh boy...you are right! Now I cannot un-see the big, red, toothless old witch...final nail in the coffin on this one for me...it is officially a dumpster fire now.

Hope HT make him. It would be a great figure.

Well HT did announce they had acquired the Hellboy license a couple months back but with the movie all but guaranteeing to be a bomb at the box office, who knows if they will actually do anything with it.

Most of this movie is good but the ending is not so satisfying. She supposed to be like his arch nemesis? 6.5/10

I don't believe she was his arch nemesis but just one of many. Ending left you wanting more? (at least for me anyways)

I think the weekend box office may have just helped Howard Chan to make a big decision that will probably disappoint anyone who was looking forward to getting a figure of this version of "Hellboy."

I'm so on the fence about this one. Some elements i really really liked while some I didn't. I definitely liked all the comic references and a lot of the visuals. Story was a bit light and I also felt the movie had extra gore for no reason. I dont believe it needed it that much.
