All in all i'm quite pleased with how these guys turned out, i loved their look in the film and can't wait to see these in hand.

I thought the size sounded too small. Though, like HT NECA doesn't really observe accurate scale with any of its tall creature figures.

I'm not sure I'd be interested in a proto-Xeno, or any of the intermediate parasite designs from the film. What got me excited about that last scene wasn't what the thing looked like so much as what it meant for the franchise.

I'm not surprised actually. NECA loves doing the 'monsters' from films so I'll doubt we'll see any human figures anyway.

8.5 inches are still big, it towers over the Elder Predator by an inch, and half inch taller than the P2 Predator.

These look amazing. Neca really do produce some quality products , I don't collect figures this size anymore but these will look great in any collection and if they look anything close to that in production I know I'll be tempted to buy them !.
