I think we can all give up on Apone but I hope we do get the rest of the squad before the line ends. It would be cool if we got the medic Dietrich since not many toy lines have a marine medical officer in the line up so it would be a nice change. Other than that, maybe Gorman with a swap out bandaged head.

Is there any way to fix those bent ass tail wings? They were like that even on the prototype...

I think you guys can figure out whose body I used for Gorman. Though I think he was wear boots in the film.

That is actually pretty cool. And is that Dietrich at the far back ?

Yeah, one of those two. Don't follow the Terminator line. It is a great figure and I had reservations about using it for my purposes. But happy with how it came out.

Bigbisont was the inspiration for Dietrich. Just followed his great examples.

One good thing to also come out of that Windrix mould is that customisers do have a good base body to work off of. Still, shame that figure has gotten such a bad wrap for being a no name character since to me at least he is one of the most well produced figures NECA have done in this line.

I think that the Windrix figure could pass for Pvt. Crowe (Tip Tipping).

Actually you are right. Just alter the face sculpt a bit and graffiti up the armour right and you' d have him. Another easy marine they can add to the mix as long as the actor is ok with it.

The Windrix headsculpt, maybe. The armour is totally different.

I'm afraid Tip Tipping sadly past away in 1993, I guess his family could deal with likeness right though.

David 8s head works great for Crowe. Scrape some of the eyebrows off, it's a pretty good likeness. Both men were blonde with rugged features.

What kept me from ordering this bad boy for so long was the roulette that came with not knowing which one you'd get. I wanted the open mouth version, and luckily, I stumbled upon one in a local low-key toy shop nearby. I didn't hesitate and now I have my first Xenomorph since the Kenner ones of the mid 90's.

However, I'm no expert when it comes to these guys and know some of them have QC. So I was wondering if you, fellow collectors, could rate this specimen? Is it okay, so to speak? My main concerns being the dome, mouth and surrounding areas. The head, really.

What do you reckon?
