But can anyone explain to me why posts seem to be disappearing from this thread? A whole conversation from earlier just disappeared, not just my posts but commtech's and some other boardies as well. I don't really care as it was nothing dubious, but I just don't understand. Never seen that happen on here before.

Looking at the way the lower part of the cowl is sculpted, I have a feeling the custom face plates may not work without sanding the chins.

The DX12 cowl is a little more forgiving because thee is not as much to the part underneath the face...
