Full version of Angry Birds is available for free for Android users. :chew

It's ad-supported, but the price is right. :cool Alternatively, you can pay $0.99 to get rid of the ads.

So now that the ipad is coming to Verizon anyone planning on getting one to use with their phones mobile hotspot option?

Nope. If I needed to tether, I'd just root my phone and tether to the regular (cheaper) iPad.

If I'm not mistaken, Verizon is selling a regular iPad at a more expensive price. It's just bundled with their MiFi gizmo.

I dont know what tethering is or what a hotspot is :dunno

I do know how to watch porn on my phone though :rock :rock :rock

Tethering is where you could connect some other device (like a laptop) to the phone and get internet on it through the phone's connection.

A hotspot is wireless. So if you have that feature, you could share your internet wirelessly from your phone to any other wi-fi device.

Usually the companies want you to pay extra for that feature because people don't use the internet as much on their phones, and if they can connect a laptop to it and get internet they would probably use it more.

Although it's kind of odd, $30 is the usual price for a data plan on a phone, and that's about how much you'd pay for a regular DSL service for your home--yep, they're trying to get our money.

Any of you guys with a year or more on contract should check out this deal: https://email.vzwshop.com/servlet/website/ResponseForm?OSPEUT_9_9_z_UU_0Hsr_.2eHmH_wkhthE

Unlimited messaging, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited data, 450 talk minutes for $69.99.

Engadget says they're checking their database to make sure you were sent the promotional e-mail, but they set me up right away. I just said "I heard about this new unlimited data and messaging plan you have..." and the dude knew exactly what I was talking about.

Just make sure you call the number on the link, some people are reporting the deal is not working for them, but I think they're just calling the regular VZW number.

The change was reflected in my account immediately, so I'm 99.99% sure it's not a scam.

More info here: https://www.bgr.com/2010/11/06/verizon-wireless-testing-sprint-like-70-450-minute-unlimited-plan/ and here: https://www.engadget.com/2010/11/06...ited-text-and-data-cellular-plans-for-prefer/

I called the number on the link and they said my account wasn't eligible. They said it was an email sent to customers that don't currently have smart phones. LAME!!!
