i was looking forward to something ALL the action figure companies have been forgetting
an actual SMILING Joker, showing teeth!

he does smile in the film a handful of times
when he was laughing while driving the truck
when he lets Rachel fall
when he's hanging upside down especially
when he says hi to Two-Face
and the images above
some of his smiles are creepy enough to generate interest

if anyone ever took the Bank Robber sculpt, Version 2 head
and made a GOOD re-sculpt with yellow teeth
i'd pay top dollar for that

Here is an idea.......forget making a new figure make different head sculpts, hand sculpts and clothes. Add the nice mark up for each item and people will purchase them.

Folks can kitbash, mix and match their Jokers forever

but has Hot Toys ever actually done anything like that?
or any company really?
it'd be great to get great accurate clothing, like for Joker
such as the correct shades of purple and the orange inner lining
and Cop, Nurse outfits and his hands with the broken nails

Can I just ask - whats this "I know right?" statement. Why add the 'right' at the end? I've seen it a few times now, some kind of americanism. Is it from a sit-com or something?

yeah tbh i would prefer no new items for awhile, lol asmuch as i woudl love them, i prefer being able to own all of them...and there damn costly all at once.

Ouch. Don't see that happening for like 15 to 20 years. I would choose Nurse, however I'm of the mind they should do Scarecrow or Ras Al Ghul. On top of both of them: GORDON!

Hmmm, that'd definitely be a way to sell more tickets - a lot of people who might not normally go would probably want to see if the "new actor" did as good as/better than Heath (probably the same people who went to see TDK because of the circumstances surrounding his death). It would be a gutsy move on Nolan's part to recast the role, though. I imagine there would be a lot of people who believe the role should only be played by Ledger and who would be upset by a recast, likewise it would be a brave actor who would take on the role - having to walk the line between impersonation and taking the character too far from what was established in TDK.

I actually wouldn't be at all surprised if Ledger played an important, albeit minor role in the next film through the use of archival footage and digital manipulation, much in the same way Brando was featured in Superman Returns. That would allow Nolan to still make use of the character while at the same time not angering fans with a new actor.
