Too bad he is gone....but why is this discussion in the General Collectibles area??

This is a combo. of all the post that were posted on the reports I think thats why, there were like 3 reports or threads about 30 min. ago.

Wow, this was a major shock. So sad.

There were always rumors that followed him in his adult life but no one can say he wasn't legendary and revolutionary.

I believe the comparison was in the jokes being made, not in the two men's legacies.

Re: Michael Jackson dies

I dont see any threads here, why would it get deleted????

Re: Michael Jackson dies

For some reason the mods moved the main thread into General Collectibles. :dunno

Very sad, heart goes out to the families that lost. I honestly thought this would be in the Aliens & Robots thread.

Jokes aside lets all remember him for how badass he really was.

Not only his dance moves I loved as everyone else but there was also something that moved me from the warmth of his music and rhythms and beats.

I can remember as kids, me and my friends/cousins all trying to copy his dance moves... loved his music too.

His later years, we didn't dig so much of his music but eh, tastes change. I still like his older stuff.

I totally dig that song.

rest in peace man.. it's been a long arduous journey.

What is with YouTube, it's really starting to get on my nerves.

Either way, it's tacky and not right. A person passes away. The least you can do is be respectful. I mean would you like someone to make jokes at your family or friend's expense if they passed away? Probably not.

Either way, it's sad news and I am moving along. I also feel for Farah Fawcett's family.

Really??? I could never respect MJ after all those kiddie stories. And his music is way too girly. But now he's a hero.

the man has earned respect. he was revolutionary in the music industry and if nothing else you should respect him as a musician.
