the man has earned respect. he was revolutionary in the music industry and if nothing else you should respect him as a musician.

Revolutionary? Look you want to talk about the music then you have to give it up for Quincy Jones, Michael would have been nothing without him. If you want to talk performer then sure, give it up to michael.
 
RIP I loved his music when I was a kid. I think my thriller album wore out.

You know its a big story when you hear about this on ESPN.
 
He led an extremely interesting, and extremely strange life. I feel that the way his dad pushed him was borderline child abuse, and probably contributed to the strangeness later in life. Personally, I'm probably with most people in that I loved (and still love) his early music, and was saddened as he became more and more bizarre over the years. Any death is a tragic thing, his no moreso than the girl who electrocuted herself.

RIP, Michael.
 
Was never a big Jackson fan but I know musical tallent when I see it
and I respect MJ for that. R.I.P
