I really could care less if it does. I don't mind if they include it as long as it doesn't come at the cost of a lower quality single player game. I would never play the multiplayer aspect anyway

Oh HELL yes! Though I'm surprised at the focus on Earth and humanity in particular. Did Shepard really piss the Reapers off THAT much, that they're focusing on humanity over all the other races?

That would make sense
To be honest, I was surprised at what they were able to accomplish in 2 years with Mass Effect 2 so it would be best not to tie something like a multiplayer game with Mass Effect 3
But still--they could do some really interesting things with multiplayer
looking forward to Mass Effect 3 I hope there is no Multi-player in it to be honest, to many games these days come out with a 5 hour single player campaign and then decide that because they induced Multi-player that's good enough. Mass Effect is one of the last great single player games with a good length story and side missions it takes a few days to beat not a single sitting. If they add Multi Player then I'd have to assume the better part of the time between Mass Effect 2 and 3 would have been spent on that and not building another great single player experience and that would be down right sad. I'm all for a Multi-player Mass Effect stand alone game however that could be cool.
Fans freaked out when ME2 included a 'dumbed down' RPG menu system, so some must be really concerned over a MP
Since when does an RPG/action shooter that should last 30 hours have time to include MP?

This is what I would like. Give me the option of playing through the campaign with side missions that are able to have you go to a "hub" of some sort to join with someone or recruit another person to your cause.

A big, epic story driven RPG like Mass Effect would only suffer from the addition of Multiplayer. Especially as it's the final part of trilogy that has been single player only up till now.
Co-op side missions could work but I think it would feel a bit disjointed from the rest of the game and the series as a whole.
Plus creating multiplayer would take up a lot of development time possibly at the expense of the single player game.
I have faith that Bioware will stick to what they're good at and make an amazing single player only experience that will serve as a fitting end to the Mass Effect Trilogy.
