The first movie should have some lesser known antagonist like Psycho-Man or Mole Man or even Red Ghost and the Intelligencia. The second should be Galactus and introduce the Silver Surfer. Then you can give Norrin a spin-off. The third should be Annihilus. Doom ideally would be a sort of secondary protagonist instead of an antagonist, being slowly built up, and get his own show or spin-off. After the trilogy you could do Future Foundation. Keep Secret Wars to end the MCU as a whole. Maybe you could do that as a quasi 2nd trilogy. FF, then Ultimate F4 to introduce the Maker, then Secret Wars with an Illuminati film proceeding it. Seed Molecule Man throughout the whole thing. Maybe an Infamous Iron Man flick as an epilogue. Iron Man was the starting point, that could be the end. Doom gets a quasi redemption as the new Iron Man and the F4 get the final shot creating universes.

That's cool and all, but I don't want to be in a nursing home by the time we see Dr. Doom as a main villain. :lol

Fantastic Four: Vegas Sportsbook Says Giancarlo Esposito Has Best Odds to Play Dr. Doom

I like the actor a lot, but he's 5'7''. I don't want Dr Doom to be a manlet. :lol It's bad enough Dr. Doom has been a joke on film twice....

now he will look like

That, plus I also can't imagine him as the Balkan King named Victor Von Doom... It's almost as bad as the rumor of Wesley Snipes playing Dracula. The other Balkan Monarch from the 1400s... They could've just recast him as Blade. I'm kind of cautiously excited for that but I don't know if the new guy can pull it off. From what I've seen him in he's got a more "refined" air. Anyway, I wouldn't have minded Esposito as Kang if they wanted to give him a Mastermind/Chessmaster Villain Role, but that went to... that random guy from "Did You Know Lovecraft Was Racist: The Show". If we're talking F4, he could be a good Puppet Master. You could give him a redo and turn him into a pretty creepy villain. Psycho-Man as well. The F4 have a rather underrated Rogues Gallery.

As for my fancast, I don't know. I think you need someone with theater experience since Doom is a rather theatrical personality. I unironically wouldn't mind Huge Jackedman. Fassbender, Mortensen, Nikolaj, Cillian Murphy and the like are safer choices. Adam Driver is a new favourite. Dan Stevens has the chops. Rufus Sewel pops up from time to time. Mads was wasted in Doctor Strange (let's hope if Dormammu returns he's used as his human avatar or some ********). Personally, for a time I wanted Toby Stephens. Nic Cage would be bonkers and in a good way. In an ideal world we would've gotten Daniel Day-Lewis in a genre-defying trilogy.

PS: It's a shame that both Dooms were bad because both actors tried. I remember McMahon read the books and wanted to do the whole Sorcerer King bit, and Kebbel actually read them as a kid. McMahon's was actually not that bad as far as 2000s Capes go. Fant4stic could've just taken the Ultimate approach and run with it, but... Both got ****ed over. But the first two flicks had pretty good Doom designs. They had the mask, cloak and everything. The concept art was interesting too:

Bah, you're not a true fan. Real OGs would claw to dear life waiting for their 400$ Diecast Dolly from the Post-Credits scene teasing Doom's appearance four movies later.

I think Tom Ellis (Lucifer) would make an excellent Dr. Doom. Karl Urban is another option, even if he did play Skurge in Thor: Ragnarok. Maybe even Joaquin Phoenix.

Urban's been wasted in the MCU, but would've been great if only for the fact that he'd keep the mask on at all times. Ellis has the height and look, but I've only ever seen him in Lucifer. Phoenix has the chops and look but is again a tad too short. But he doesn't come off as short, so with some camera tricks it could work. Jude Law would've been fantastic (and was actually tapped for the proto-Fox film before the Tim Story one) but he's been wasted in the MCU as well. I don't want Doom to be some 6'5" GigaChad, but he should be around 6'0" or so. Honestly, I wouldn't mind DiCaprio either. Really, there are a bunch of actors who could fit the role. The major problem is the MCU's "brand style" of filmmaking. To utilize Doom properly you should do a film like Joker that leans into other genres. Otherwise he's just another capevillain with a gimmick.

The Rock would be perfect and is my top choice as well (used to be Terry Crews), but don't know if he'd sign on for a 95% voice/mo-cap role. Cena could also work.

Why is everyone fancasting wrestlers and big guys? The Thing's 6'0". Ben was a literal Astronaut that studied alongside Reed and Victor. He wasn't a GigaGenius like them, but he was pretty smart. You don't need some hulkling guy for the Thing, considering that'll be CGI anyhow. You need a warm, ruggedly handsome guy with a twinkle in his eye.

Don't blame me, Ben's a Chad.

Brad Pitt is relentlessly handsome.

Russell Crowe is ruggedly handsome.

So The Thing is a manlet by superhero standards. :lol Ii always thought he was much larger.

Anyway, I expect the Ben Grim actor to be black. I doubt they'll take any chances with the other 3 characters, given they already tried the black Johnny Storm, but Ben they can CGI and have a black guy with a deep voice play him.

Are you sure about that?

Well, I meant back in his prime... Still, with a diet he'd be just fine again. That hair puts to shame must current 20 year olds... He's too old for Grimm now, but I was using him as an example.

6'3" is the new manlet cutoff. 6'1"-6'2" is King of Manlets. This is just how the new world is.

Kidding aside, it's fun too look at superhero heights. Parker is 5'8" or something. Black Panther is 6'0". Stark and Reed are 6'1", and Doom, Strange and Namor are 6'2". I guess the Illuminati have a clear height policy...

I don't know, Grimm was Kirby's self-insert. I honestly don't think they'll racebend the F4. It's a given that Namor will be Asian for... some reason. I still don't know why the internet has latched onto the Blue-Eyed Atlantean King, son of an blue Atlantean woman and a white Scottish guy as Asian-Coded. Alicia will be racebend again. Possibly characters like Mad Thinker and the Wizard, where it doesn't really matter all that much. But I expect the F4 to remain as they are. I wonder if they'll do stuff like Red Ghost or Alyssa Moy. Or maybe Millar's BatKek before Snyder read a Dredd comic.

Although going by yesterday's Doctor Doom #10 and Secret Wars, Doom's now unironically a mass murderer close to Cosmic Abstracts.

I bet we get Mole Man since his first appearance was in Fantastic Four #1. Avengers got Loki, who was in Avengers #1. All hail Feige, your God.
