NOTE: I *think* this code may only be valid with LB2, so don't use if you only have the first game.

In the PSN store, go to the upper right and use this code: code claimed

Please post here after you use it so I can edit this post.

Thanks so much! If you have some friend you play with online be sure to play it with them, because its a game better with friends. :D

Unfortunately, I can't get any of my friends to play this game. :monkey2 Hence why I'm giving my extra costume code away here instead of to one of my friends. Though it doesn't look like anybody is biting here either. :lol :(

This should be far and away the best selling game right now, but there doesn't seem to be much excitement in the circles I hang with. :dunno :cuckoo:

:O Me too! None of my friends have gotten this game either!

I'm sooooooo wanting this game. I skipped on the first one and was wondering, should I start with it first or just wait and pick up the second one? I can get a copy of the GOTY edition for $10 on Walmart.

Damn, $10 is a fantastic deal. I'd get that. Everything you unlock/buy/build for that game will be available to you when you move to LBP2.

The differences between LBP and LBP2 are in the creation tools: With the first game, you're generally stuck making platforming levels, but some level creators have gotten really creative and pushed the limits past the intended scope of the tools. With LBP2, some really great creation tools were introduced and you can now build whatever you want. I've seen a great top-down zombie shooter, some first person stuff, and even Windows XP. Google controllinator and sackbot to get a rundown of the biggest addition to LBP2.

As a creator, you'll have fun with both. As a player, you'll definitely get your $10 worth from the first game. The second game offers near limitless opportunities for both creators and players.

Yeah, I just checked and the game went back to $29.96 but I have a $10.68 credit that I have to use online...the credit was free from a Walmart price screwup back in October. I may go ahead and grab it at $20, play through the first one, and wait for the LBP2 GOTY edition and get all the added content.

Here are some really great levels I played recently:

Classic Zelda 1-1 - I don't know how this was made, but it's a pretty faithful recreation of the first dungeon from The Legend of Zelda
https://lbp.me/v/wy7xvy

Rogue Panda Rescue - I guess it's an in-joke for some commercial playing the UK, but it's a pretty fun level even for US players. You need to find and catch as many pandas as you can.

Top Down Zombies Level 1 (1 player) - Frickin' awesome. This is probably my favorite level so far. The controls are much like Smash TV, but you're fending off zombies in a city. Explore city streets and buildings. Really great.

Spice & CO - Bouncing and bombs. What's not to like? Well thought-out, well designed all-around.

What have you been playing?

Man i just looked at what makes the flying bee's tick ..and my god it's so frikkin complex, i just made my own flying machine and pulled all the microchips from the bee and put them on my creation instead..it's the fastest way to make things fly well.

Thanks for the suggestions, I've added those to my queue.

:lol Yeah, sometimes it's easier to just "Frankenstein" it. I *still* haven't created anything yet with LB2. Need to find the time... :gah:

I know this level is from lbp1 ..but i think i'm going to give this one a go:D

I'm looking for a few good sacks to team up for 100% on story mode. Any of you guys up for it? I think we'll need 4 total if we want 100%, I'm not sure exactly what it will take though (ie: which levels have the multi-sack parts and whatnot). I'd prefer US PM time for meetups, but I'm flexible...
