Despite how cool and redeeming it would be for the T-Rex to kill the I-Rex, I never thought it made much sense. The I-Rex was designed to be bigger and badder than the T-Rex, how on Earth would the T-Rex stand a chance against it? If it's true that the Mosasaurus kills it, that makes a lot more sense as it's really the only thing on the island big enough to do so.

K, read that and so went back and read the other spoilers. It does make sense I suppose.

The film never loses sight that the I-Rex was designed to be the ultimate dinosaur. The I-Rex had to fight 5 dinosaurs in total in the final fight without any rest in between, was able to kill 2 of them then had to fight 2 more before the Mosasaurus finished it. There is a part in the battle when the T-Rex goes 1 on 1 against the I-Rex and the T-Rex was getting destroyed.

Here's a fairly positive review.

I don't count his review. He's a Spielberg nuthugger and he thinks Indy 4 is a good film. The day he takes off his nostalgia tainted glasses, then I'll take him seriously.

With the mega intense marketing everywhere for this, I fear the worst now. Could end up in the bargain bin with genysis?

Based on the trailer they do have that stuff and in reality it would do the job of course but not in movieland.

What I don't understand is with all the tech we have at our disposal, nobody in the JP universe has still found a weapon that can easily pierce big dino hide You would think they would've found a way to make a rapid-fire version of Roland's tranq rifle that took down the T-Rex in JP2.

In JP3 they had a 50 cal but didn't do squat against the Spinosaurus. And...

in Jurassic World they do whip out a minigun but that didn't do any damage against the I-Rex either.
