Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Casino Royale Craig tux?

Its for my Brosnan figure actually. I've got the Very Cool blue tuxedo which I'm planning on using for my Craig figure. (Although, I might switch out the shirt for one with longer sleeves.)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

It's true that it takes certian light for this to look right, and yes the head is really too big :(

It's the only mass one that comes close to hitting the mark but ultimately falls short.

A good option for the lazy Everyman, but not satisfying enough for those of us who know there are better.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

We can't be too far off from seeing an ultimate Craig sculpt now. These sculpts have been inching closer and closer to greatness as they are released over the years so the odds are in our favor! :lol

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Just got my Eleven Craig head. In comparison to HT heads it does seem bigger, but compared to other sculpts from other companies, Craftone for example, it doesn't seem oversized.
Threw it on the DID Agent body, with the Tuxedo jacket off, and I think it looks great. Should look even better with that Alpine outfit.
For $29 shipped, I'm happy.
Then again, what do I know, I could just be a lazy everyman.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

That 'Emulated Body' is emulating a TTM-19, a reasonable build for Bond, but with poor articulation for any action poses. The DID body looks ok with the Eleven sculpt and if nothing else emerges it'll be what I'd use. Coulson bodies would be fine for smaller sculpts like the BBKill, but overall they are too small for Daniel Craig and should not now be considered the 'body du jour' so to speak. Steve Rogers is a consideration, but, it has extended ankle cups which would make him too tall. A Narrow TT would probably be the best as the majority of third party clothing will have been made for this as clones are easy to come by and tailor for.

The Ace figure could still surprise us though as all we've seen so far are very poor quality phone pics and official promos are what we'd need to see. Mind you, Rocco can't be ruled out and may yet come up trumps...

We'll see......

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Does anyone think the reason the Eleven head is too big is because it's designed to go with that snowsuit outfit? As puffy as it is, it might look right, while a "correct" head size might end up looking tiny...

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Not really, I don't think Eleven knew which outfits would be available when he sculpted that head. I'm not sure any of his heads are done with specific outfits in mind.

The "Coulson" I had here was identical to the Bruce Wayne which itself is the same as the TTM18 which is the same as the knock-off "Narrow Shoulder" - if you have some photos to show that the Coulson is instead smaller, I'd like to take a look. The only body I know of from HT that's smaller is the Bruce Lee and TTM22 Slim types.

It doesn't matter which body you put the Eleven head on, it's too big for all of them. The human head has some variation, but if you put a larger head on a larger body you're just changing the entire scale instead of achieving a hero-like physique (greater than 7 to 7.25 heads height for the body).

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

The Coulson is completely different to the HT Narrow and here's a pic:

Nothing like a Narrow TT or any clone. The Bruce Wayne body is a standard Narrow TT.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Torso is different. Hmm, someone sold me the wrong body. No worries because I've since sold it on, but I used the same photos for both my Bruce Wayne body and the identical (apparently not real) Coulson. Thankfully the buyer must not have cared, no complaints.

The body must look the same to the lazy everyman ;) I kid of course, but Ray just through out a real zinger!

Functionally equivalent for the most part. I'd have probably sold it anyway, so I'm not upset about having gotten the wrong part, especially since I didn't lose any money on it. :)

What I need (but not for bond) are a stack of SLIMS.

Have you tried these yet?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Nice that someone is cloning slims, now they need to do the Coulson and the Banner/Colton and we'll be happy.

That one has been on my watch list for 6 months - I've been waiting to sample it which I'll do soon enough. Since then I've tried a few others which have been a let-down and most definitely not slims.

Swappable parts so you can change the form - more expensive overall, but could be cool.
