Can't wait for this game! :rock

Looks alright, good mix of action. I don't think any Bond game is ever going to be able to top Goldeneye short of the generation of gamers who played it dying out.

Terrible graphics. I mean wow....

I guess this will have to do....since there wont be another Bond movie. :gah:

Yeah, no Bond game will ever top Goldeneye, just too much nostalgia there keeping it at the top.

I didn't get to really play Goldeneye (so I'm free! I'm free!)

I thought the gameplay looked cool (graphics notwithstanding - though it seemed more to do with the character models and their movie animations than surrounding graphics).

I like the fact that you can see Bond while you're playing too.

Yeah, GoldenEye is a classic, but if you really want a James Bond-ish experience, look to Everything or Nothing. That was my favorite Bond game. Great mechanics, third person, GOW-esque stealth cover (which was almost unheard of at the time, MGS notwithstanding). Even the driving sequences were fun, not to mention having two insanely hot Bond girls (Mya and Shannon Elizabeth). Too bad they ruined it by dumbing down pretty much everything for the buggy sequel, From Russia With Love.

Hopefully this one will be similar, but I am a bit worried about the graphics. Crossing fingers that there's still a lot of polish to be done.

I agree, Nostalgia aside, Everything or Nothing is my favorite Bond game. But add the nostalgia of Goldeneye and they're pretty equal. I remember coming home from school every day in high school and playing it. :lol

I hope they keep the controls similar to EoN, I think that had the best control system so far. QoS wasn't bad. FRwL was horrible.

Awesome announcement, I loved the Quantum Of Solace game for the PS3, Craig is my favourite Bond and it is in 3rd person!

My most anticipated game for years, I think!

Yeah that was a great game. I think this new one looks a bit like it crossed with the Quantum of Solace game.

I'd put the graphics down to it being very early on!

It's all been done?

Wow, lots of diamonds! :lol

I think it's not too bad...I'm not at all a fan of Joss Stone, but she managed to do an alright job.

Cancelled.

It hasn't actually been canceled. Michael G. Wilson said the other day at the Blood Stone press conference that he's expecting to be able to re-start production 'soon'. Take that with a grain of salt, but seeing as he's one of the producers, I'd say he knows what's going on.

Jesus is coming "soon" and has been for a few hundred years. :lol

There's a new book coming out too. It's going to be written by Jeffrey Deaver. Unlike Sebastian Foulkes book, it's going to be set in modern times with Bond as a vetran of Iraq and Afghanistan. I think it sounds pretty interesting and I'm really looking forward to it.

Nothing will beat this opener...
