what a work of art, if only I gave a **** about this character to drop this kind of money. If it was quarter scale and priced accordingly to that scale I would have bought it just due to its sheer awesomeness. Unfortuneatly it was way too much $$$ to spend and too much precious space just for the coolness factor. Need that space for characters that mean something too me but god damn this ****er looks awesome. Congrats to all hawkman fans for getting the "grail" hawkman statue, this will never be topped by another hawkman statue lol. Iron studios definitely has some big balls to put this much effort into a less popular character, but they created something so badass that nobody who is a hawkman fan could possibly pass (best way to guarantee sales lol)

I'd love to have a Hawkman statue. But not enough love for a 1/3 scale Hawkman and for this much money. Nope.

Some character designs just resonate with you in a way others don't.
Hawkman has always been like that for me, despite never reading much beyond the Fox/Kubert Silver age reboot, which I've always loved.
Aside from that, Shiera Hall was probably my favorite character on the animated DC Universe lovefests JL/JLU. She definitely had one of the most interesting arcs across the show's run.

So, while I'm not an uber Hawkman nerd, I have enough positive associations with him to not have had to think twice about this one.
It's going to be tight in terms of space, and it is somewhat pricey- though at the same time, actually a hell of a value for what you're getting.
Taken on sheer strength of the design & execution, this was about the most no-brainer of no-brainer purchases I've made in the ten years I've been collecting this stuff.

I wish everybody at some point will get to see a favorite, pet character realized this well.
