I received mine a few days ago and finally decided to open it up. It's heavy, and very cool. I'll be keeping it near by my PC setup, it's nice to have something different.

It'd be interesting to see what it looks like if someone customizes it with a high gloss coat. I think it would look less toyish that way

I recieved mine recently. I have no problems with the tranlucent nature of it, I always enjoyed toys with that feature. My only issue is the random pieces they decided NOT to make translucent. Like the chest and shoulder area... It really makes light carrying through it kinda awkward looking. The original one shown years ago looked better.
