So I stumbled across this juicy pic...this may be old news already. If it is, my apologies.
Frankly we still have no idea if this is even a real suit or just one of Hasbro's countless neon versions that don't really exist in the films. Personally, it looks like a Hasbro invention, not the real deal.

This story may dip into spoiler territory. I don't know. It does appear the Funko company asked them to remove the picture of the toy from the article. That would suggest to me it is legitimate. I guess we have a few months to find out.
Aaawwwww yeah I knew it was legit. I know this doesn't prove that it is, but, it is.
it would make sense tony would try to develop a orbital armor after the avengers and his fascination with "going high" in the first film. the real question would be why the hell would he be going to space.
the white color would also be beneficial since anything else would become lost or hard to see once out in the big black pit.
Spoiler:More than likely as early promotional efforts for Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel’s first non-sequel post-The Avengers, sources of the much-reliable Latino Review have revealed that (spoiler alert): At the end of Iron Man 3, Tony actually does go up into space to hook up with the Guardians of The Galaxy where I also hear he appears at the end of that movie as well.
