Hmmm..interesting.Not sure if he’s serious as Disney isn’t likely to just sit on a potentially lucrative property out of respect for the original actor.
The House of the Mouse has the last say.

Ford can say whatever he wants. If there's money to be made, Melissa McCarthy would play Indiana Jones. Bond didn't die with Connery's exit... although it could have and none of us would be the wiser.

For me, Ford will always be Indy. The next guy will just be Roger Moore.

Agreed, there's only one Indy. If they insist on making another film, they should bring in someone like Daniel Wu to play an adult version of Short Round and let Indy shift to the Henry/Marcus advisory role. That way they could mix in a little martial arts mayhem to boot. No idea what MacGuffin they should go after, but bringing back that character could offer some interesting story options in terms of their on-going relationship - or lack thereof - since Temple of Doom.

Indy should be searching for George Lucas' mojo, an object of unspeakable power, lost in 1980.

They find it and open it and a snickering, cynical Disney gets melted. When the lid falls back onto the box, its 1981 again and preproduction of ROTJ is about to begin: the future is remade... no Ewoks, no PT, no Disney sale, Kurtz produces all six SW movies.

In present day George McLucas is a successful, tennis-playing sci-fi auteur married to Lea Thompson and Rian Johnson is waxing his car and calls him "Mr. Lucas."

202631C1-DD4F-4DD9-B9CD-91A946BC3461.jpg. Finally was able to frame this poster after having it almost 30 years. Still my favorite movie.

You think? :lol

It is a kind of slapped together piece, I mean, sketches of well-known photos arranged on a fairly stark poster. But I think back in the day, 1991, it was the first poster where Indy actually looked like Ford (for obvious reasons) AND they had all three primary villains on the poster. That alone caught my eye. Other than that, its a bit flat as a piece of true artwork.

It's not my favorite piece of Stuzan's but as Wor-Gar said Indy is clearly Ford. My favorite Stuzan poster is from Last Crusade. I really like the teaser poster for that movie.

I don't understand, you don't feel the other posters look like Harrison Ford?

I actually have every single Indiana Jones poster, except for the one that is most often associated with ROTLA.

Stuzan did the artwork for original release but it wasn't on a poster in the states until the 10 year poster. It was on promotional stuff here and on foreign posters originally.

I have a lot of Indy posters. I might be missing a few of the full size but I am not entirely sure. As to your Otomo I see ford in all of them but stürzen really nails his likeness best although my favorite poster is still the Amsel for raiders with the whip on indy’s shoulder

Nice collection! You have a few I don't have, some are international releases, yes?

And I agree, ther original is my favorite as well, followed by the Temple of Doom Advance.

Some are international. Temple of doom had some great ones too. Indy is my favorite character so I tried to get every poster I could find. I even have the 7-up posters that fit together to make a large image but I only have 1 of each so they are displayed with the individual images rather than the collage.

I had that artwork before 1991....it was on a record cover.

You're right, I think I had that record too. Forgot about that. Was it the Story of Raiders or something, what the hell was that record?

The original Amsel is also my favorite. But right now I have the Temple of Doom one in my office because I like the colors.

I also like the poster where Indy is smiling, even though I hate Indy smiling like that.

It wasn't a soundtrack, but it was like a radio drama re-telling of the movie?

I had that and Star Wars and a few other records in that style.

I think I still have them at my parents' house.

Like the Story of Star Wars album with 3PO and R2 on the cover, right? I must still have that... but I can't for the life of me remember the sounds of that record.
